6 SMD 18's...THE WALL is here!!

So I haven't done an update video on this for YEARS LOL!! The Tahoe is now up to 163.3 with 6 9ks on the same 6 SMDs only wired to .35 daily. I have added 6 more D3100s and now run 4 Mechman 370 Elite alternators. The Ho' has won multiple national championships and WORLD titles. I just don't have time to do videos and I apologize. The Tahoe is STILL THE SAME as in this video so the buld is going on 5 years old and STILL kickin' ass :)

If your gonna build a 4-15 wall, try to build it with the port firing behind the drivers' side seat. I had to run a top port because of the 6-18 width. Basically build a STRONG enclosure for the 15's with that port design and slide it into your ride if possible, then brace the hell out of it and try to secure it to the vehicle as strong as possible...you don't want flex or vibration, that will hurt sound quality and score. Make everything as solid as possible...you should get good results.

It also has to do with the porting of the box, efficiency of the speakers at said frequency on certain box with ports at diff hz.

That would be a GREAT setup!! I LOVE my DC amps...ZERO problems and they do rated power+. NO problems with heat and trust me... I "test" them out EVERY time I get in the Ho' ;) Get that built and put up some videos up asap!

So far I have gotten 158.6 out of it sealed at 43Hz, but I haven't really done much to it since we threw everything in, and I KNOW it's not sealed off from the back very well AT ALL, so I'm sure I can get that number up a little to with some improvements and finish work ;)

Also, it does the 163.3 @ 44 Hz...BUT it also does 160's @ 25 now :) I have managed to get 156s @ 20 Hz Too. It does 160+ for 3 minutes straight and was the 1st vehicle to do 160+ in MWSPL Kaos class....

misspoke I guess, I commented a link with 322 clamp power, you told the same story I believe with your jackhammer, I am not expecting you to test before you go to comps, the knowledge to put that 22" in a bigger box with more port area and a better port than that thin slot would be nice. Similar things can be said about your 6 18s build. Again its a very cool system, but in my opinion a lack of testing isn't something to brag about, but I guess we are never gonna see eye to eye so oh well...

hahahah., in all seriousness though bro.,great setup, so your runnin 3 of the SMD's to the 2 amps strapped., i'm tryin to run 3 subs to one amp also, just on a smaller scale, im using 3 DD 9815's, what ohm are your voice coils? what ohm would i need on 3 subs to come to a 2 ohm load? which is what i want, but i'll def run 1 ohm ifi had too?? how can i do it? how does it need to be wired? 3 subs to 1 amp ?? thx for any info, i'm def stuck on this one man, HELP!!!

I have seen in person mike bates do 147.8 with 2 cerwin vega 15s on some kicker 500 watt amp, hes gotta be in that 300 watt range after rise, it isn't quite as impressive but its still mentionable(and this was sealed on the dash) again I guess we will never see eye to eye, you think I am trolling, I was trying to point out to the original comment made by timothy that bigger and more power doesnt necessarily equal louder.
