Find two pieces with opposite quality is fresh idea for me. I usually always do formal-formal , or casual-casual. I am going to try this new approach as it opens the door for a lot more combinations of the clothes I already have. Most of my good clothes are work clothes. Since COVID, I only go to office twice a week. Most of those nice clothes are hanging in the closet forgotten. I can wear them more often if I figure out how to pair them with my casual pieces while working from home. Thanks. Erica.

I love this formula and it will work for me most of the time. However, I live in a location that has a very hot & humid summer. I don’t know what to add for the “layering” item in that weather.

You may not need a layering item then! I don't wear layers in the summer either unless it's in the evening and then I'll reach for a light cardigan. ❤

Great question Joanne! As long as your top isn't tight and your bottoms are high-rise, a half-tuck will actually help "hide" a belly.
