They made great phones when they started 5 year ago with Nokia 8, 6...just lack of marketing campaign. But now ever since they went with this C, G and X series it all goes downhill... outdated specs with premium prices

High prices? LOL Don't know what back water country you're in, but here they are the cheapest phones on the market. They are also a fraction of the prices of the big two as well (Samsung / Apple). So yeah, Nokia phones are very very affordable here, like I said, cheapest on the market.

Well it's a good thing this phone comes also in grey rather than pink. Because also Male customers exist for Nokia. Really appreciate the easy swappable battery. Even though the easy replaceable battery will be mandatory for all smartphones from 2027 as directed by the EU. It is great to see some companies already offering easy replaceable batteries like we see with this phone here.

I thought I'd give Nokia a try again after not having a Nokia for several years. I found to my dismay that the torch on the Nokia G42 is extremly dim. It's bright enough to find your keys or navigate in a dark room, but it's not bright enough to read a book by. My previous phone (a British-designed Wileyfox Swift 2X) which was notoriously bad in several other ways has a much brighter torch! What's going on? Have I just got one of the duds off the production line?

Dear Nokia, i have an idea maybe can be usefull ,how about you reintroduce the big old names back to the market,the 1200,1110,1100,N series,Eseries and C series,then introduce Xseries ..I'd really suggest that the 1100,1110,1200,6020 to be budget smartphones to compete with xiomi,redmi,sumsung A11,A13 ,infinix,tecno,,then C series be buttoned or banner phones, have the E series to compete with the midrange smartphone, the likes of Samsung A50s,oneplus ,huawei etc,then have the N series to be flagship models .then the X series can be foldables or tablets..reintroduce the hand shake and the slogan ,connecting people and that nokia tune when starting the phone.the current names you having are really boring and doesn't even sound good,hope the idea is good

Its funny since its basically one of the only smartphone companies that is not chinese. Its a Finnish company. and dont start with the ”b-but they use Chinese factories” bs because most consumer electronics are made there, or at least the components for them. That is just the way things work in the world. However HMD is starting with their own production in Europe this year, something nobody else is doing. Is that something a Chinese company would do?
