@@gumnaamaadmi007 as i have said repeatedly in comments on her page, most of her advice is well within reason and usually very basic, and also, a guy would do well to practice these ideas even if they never get a girlfriend for the rest of their lives. For example, how does a guy hope to earn money or make friends if he interrupts people, knocks them out with bad breath, neglects responsibility, and walks around publicly with an embarrassingly sloppy wardrobe? My only objection is the fact that she NEVER, EVER, EVER tells us what we should be looking for women to be doing for us, and the fact that she tells us the one without the other is insulting, condescending, conceited and entitled because it means she thinks men should do everything on behalf of women but women should do not a damn thing to reciprocate. IF, IF, IF she was laying out the laundry list of tangible actions women should be doing on behalf of men THEN i would invite her to outline even higher standards men could satisfy to improve their value to women because there's no getting around the fact that dating is value-for-value exchange when a relationship is at the starting point, but she never does that. She's just another conceited modern female demanding everything from men while demanding zero from women but pretending to be a middle-of-the-road peacemaker.

I want to add a few if I may: 1. Keep your word - never overpromise and underdeliver. If anything, do the opposite. 2. I have seen married men do this a LOT - stop flirting with new/younger employees that are like half your age! 3. Something extra about communication skills - listen to understand, not JUST to reply and/or to have the last word. 4. Be open to learning new things and new skills/techniques at ANY age - no one is a know-it-all.

4 especially is a key for all people. I've met countless women who never ever look into self improvement. I'm constantly reading about self improvement. It's a real turnoff to me when people think they've got life down and don't ever need to learn anything new. Personal finance is a big one for me and the information is easily available and most people lack the effort to learn about it.

Courtney’s tips in man’s language: 1. Go to the fucking gym 2. Brush your fucking teeth and use mouthwash. 3. Surround yourself with people better than you (at the good things) 4. Pay your bills and do the necessary shit. Fun comes second 5. Get off and unfollow Ig and OF models 6. Buy some actually decent clothes that will last a long time 7. Most important of all, do whatever the fuck you want as long as you’re not hurting yourself, those around you, or your chances of living a good life.

This is absolutely correct, particularly the part about poor choices. I've been to some class reunions and I see the impact of poor choices decades after the decisions were made. Unfortunately these decisions can also have fatal consequences or significantly diminished life expectancies owing to choices made regarding friends and substance abuse. In some cases, a choice made in the teens or early 20s has led to incarceration, addictions, and lost opportunities.

The first point is so important, especially with dating. While it's important to be aware of and call out bad aspects of dating, it's equally important to see the positive and work to inprove ones own situation as much as possible. The problem is, for many that's too much work; it's easier to blame everyone and everything else and give up. Which relates to point three, you sometimes need people around you who inspire you to be better, or simply encourage you when you're down.

This is a great list Courtney! As a 48 year old man, I can clearly see the large amount of social, physical, financial, and professional maturity and wisdom I've developed since my 20s. One more I would add (and I heard you briefly mention it) is smoking. I had a co-worker who starting smoking when he was in high school, and at age 47 he passed away from lung cancer. Tobacco is exceptionally more dangerous for older people because their physical health is more fragile. Vaping and cigs might have been cool in high school, but not cool at my age.

Hi Courtney, I love your videos and directness. I consider myself a kind of an alien. I naturally stopped those in my 20s. I got married at 22 yo. Now 48, I can tell that those basic qualities you mentioned (congratulations for the honesty of#2 !!!!!!!!) it is what makes a family and a strong relationship last against storms. Regarding the online part, I guess my recommendation is doing it in the open to keep the trust. If there's nothing secret about, for example, watching your videos, then do it on the TV in front of everyone. If anything, it shows how mature a man actually is for taking good advice and self improvement.

Thanks for the great video! I like how you go directly to the point and how your tips are realistic and can be applied almost by every man and it is not depending that much on their income or social status. You know, "basic stuff" and "common sense" which sadly are not that "basic stuff" and "common sense" anymore in our current era. Also I appreciate how you explained your point on video games and other "fun things" - it is not about the thing itself, but the healthy balance that fun things should have their own place, not be the main thing in life. I think some people really need to hear that explanation since it is often expressed too black and white ways even that is not the actual issue but the issue is unhealhty balance between entertainment and responsibilities. If gaming, entertainment or what-so-ever is taking too much time, it have same attitude than eating too much - lack of self control, and that is something what adults should not lack of. God bless, keep doing good videos! :)
@gracerules2008
@gracerules2008 18 күн бұрын
That only applies to adults who want long term relationships or marriage or children. If an adult is not trying to pursue those things then that leaves them with more free time to have fun if they wish. There is a reason that being single has more freedom. Some people tend to forget those benefits..
@user-gw3yb3ki6w
@user-gw3yb3ki6w 18 күн бұрын
@@gracerules2008 Well, maybe some have forget, of course. I have not at least myself since I have been single last 14 years or so. I believe that many wants to stay single because they are immarture, or the dating pool available is too immarture. It is much easier to live life alone than with bad company what makes life just pain, but healthy relationship of course should make life better. Adults having fun if they wish is of course a choice to make, but if their whole adulthood is about having fun and easy life without taking much responsibilities other than necessary to survive then at least nowadays personally I can't easily see that kind of person as an adult but a child in a body of adult. Of course others don't need validation to their lifestyles from my opinions and that's a good thing.

And that is my point. Some are quite happy to never grow up by your measuring stick of what that looks like or anyone else's. We don't live in the days of a Military draft anymore. In those days men were forced to grow up much faster. Today it is more voluntary to an extent to grow up. Unless they bring back the draft or get a woman pregnant unintentionally then I have more liberty to take my time growing up. It is what it is. Society may not respect that but they are not helping me pay bills anyway.

Question. How does that go for women who spend a lot of time online? I get it 100% men should not be on there all the time. I can't agree with you more. However, I’ve noticed that a lot of the women I went on dates with or dated recently spend a lot of time online FB/Insta. The other thing too is I'm usually find woman who's primarily mode of contact is Snapchat as a complete turn off. I'm sorry I just don't see why you should be communicating via a cheating app. I'm calling it that because why have it as a grown adult?

It goes both ways. Time should be dedicated to one another. How can either connect if they’re hanging online all the time. My current boyfriend had that issue with his first wife and their communication broke down. On his part he was too preoccupied with his hobbies and she became too engrossed with the internet which led to her talking to other guys. They were both at fault for two of the things the KZbinr mentioned. He learned from that and makes time to balance so that the lines of communication are always open and that his hobbies like video games don’t overshadow our relationship. We are both in our 40s. The previous relationships of his, he was engrossed in his hobbies and didn’t give enough attention and the communication issues came about. He was in his 20s/30s then. He’s only had two serious long term relationships in his life. The second ended more amicably and they are still partially acquainted. I’ve met her and she recently got married. With me he told me to let him know if I ever feel neglected or ignored and told him to also let me know if I do something that maybe bothersome as it may be inadvertent. Imo, communication will always be key. That’s something I learned from my one and only serious relationship.

That is the major issue. “Going outside and touching grass” does not do much when not enough people are doing the same.

1) being chronically online 1a) don't react to this by becoming chronically offline! Balance is needed mofo! 2) hygiene 2a) You should clean yourself and then not talk about it. Don't pull a vegan! 3) hanging with jerks 3a) knowing who you are and what you stand for makes jerks angry. Let them be angry. You becoming better is something to be celebrated, not denigrated. 4) neglecting responsibility 4a) relaxing time comes after the most important urgent things are taken care of. Again find balance. 5) following Instagram "baddies" 5a) Who you are online is who you are in real life. Sorry. 6) interrupting and bad communication 6a) it would suck if people did that same stuff to you. Geeze. 7) torn socks and undies 7a) you should what a woman to see the nice things you put on yourself! 8)trim your nails 8a) cut them and wash your damn hands! You wouldn't like muddy hands rubbing your downstairs! Geeze!

The toothbrush thing (like most things) depends on the person. I got really casual/lazy when I had an electric toothbrush because I think I subconsciously figured the toothbrush was doing the work...and it led to cavities then crowns then root canals. Being thorough with a regular brush, I haven't had new cavities since.

I think the video game thing is contextual. If you're a dad and you sit down to play with your kids, then fine. If you're in your 20's then ok. But if you're in your 40s and you have to have "tech time" every night by yourself and you get into the latest game, then its time to reevaluate things. IMHO

Isn't finding out what another person brings to the table the whole point of dating? That said, I'd agree it's rarely appropriate to ask directly. She will be offended and your chances of getting an accurate answer are near zero anyway.

Good communication is one of my biggest issues. As a kid I was always ignored by family and others. O listen to them, but I was alwasy talked over like I did not exist. So when I got older I did what you said. I would interupt and talk over others just as a fight to be heard. My mother would ask how my day was, I would start to say and my sister would walk in. And everything stopped. All attention went to her. When I got older I know longer cared. You have no time to listen to me, I get bored an move on. Being a good listener is one of my flaws. When my wife was alive we were having problems. So I said you tell me whats bothering you. I will listen, then when you are done I will say bothers me. I listen for 45 minutes to the abuse, and said nothing. When it was my turn. I said two words and she interupted wirh Yeah but you! I still think my idea is solid. How can you fix what you don't know? I walked away after she didn't listen, and nothing got better only worse.

I floss and use interstitial brushes. After starting to use the brushes I was surprised at how poorly flossing does the job. I will use toothpicks during the day as well. I use an electric toothbrush but not every day. My dentist told me it was being too aggressive on my gums. And then there are breath mints . . .

I'm a little bit shy when it comes to a beautiful woman that I really like that's my honest opinion. My brain freezes up don't know what else to say but saying HI and walk away 🤦‍♂️😂 it's okay I ain't ready for a relationship yet I really don't have the time too busy working plus when I get free time I like to enjoy time n peace with friends and family. Plus I get a lot of free time to finish up whatever project I'm working on in my house. That whole underwear situation got me cracking up 😂😭🤣 can't believe Courtney just roasting everybody in here I didn't see that coming 😭🤣 guess what she ain't wrong. It's a shame but yup I'm ordering new ones online right now 🤦‍♂️🤣 Thanks mom lol 😂 just kidding. Awesome video by the way your rocking that blue dress. Cool..
