Just got back last week from my first solo travel to Cozumel. I applied all that research technology and did pretty good. I can hardly wait to go back! I love all of your information. Keep the videos coming! I also printed out your solo travel book and that was a great help.

I do the same as you, especially for research. If available, I use the Hop On/Hop Off maps as part of my research. I get a feel for the geography. Then when I’m looking at hotels, I pick someplace close to a HOHO stop. Usually, taxis & public transportation will be close by. I also look at what ride sharing apps are used in country or city. I just used FreeNow in Barcelona & Rome.

Where does one find the information on a country’s visa requirements? Also Covid requirements?

Which country are you in? The US? If so, I would start with the US Department of State. On their website, they have a list of countries and it will tell you if and when a visa is required and which one.
