This was great! But why are there so many time zones is why I came here. I may have stumbled upon the wrong resource but was glad to have still found a helpful video! ❤

Thankyou for your appreciation. The United States spans a vast geographic area, stretching from the East Coast to the West Coast, Because of its sheer size, it covers multiple longitudinal lines. As the Earth rotates, different parts of the country experience daylight at different times. To accommodate this, the United States is divided into multiple time zones.

5:30 I didnt know that, so I learned something new. I thought Hawaii was the only state that didnt use Daylight saving
@TOPBrainGK2 жыл бұрын
Thanks. The only parts of the US that do not have Daylight Saving Time are Hawaii and most of Arizona.

Baker island and Howland island are part of the united states outlying islands territory and are in the time zone of UTC-12 or 2 hours behind of Hawaii all year round. These are the last places to experience a new day after everywhere else on earth.

Based on EST, CST, MST, PST & HST, would Alaska be AST (Alaska Standard Time)? I know for a fact that east of Canada is AST (Atlantic Standard Time), and another time-zone there, NST (Newfoundland Standard Time).
@TOPBrainGK2 жыл бұрын
Yes.. Almost all of Alaska observes Alaska Standard Time (AKST) with the corresponding Daylight Saving Time (DST) .

Wait what?!!?!! Arizona is the only state that does not have a change their time?!?!? I'm turning 38 for the first time this year and I'm just realizing this?!?!?!

I already declared in the end that Hawaii and some part of Arizona does not change their time in Day light saving time. Where did I say that "Arizona is the only state that does not have a change their time?" (As you say in your comments.)

@@sealandland3959 you are trolling! She's even replied and you have the audacity to keep it up. Just incase you are serious, you're incredibly pedantic. English in England sounds different than in the USA, you just heard English and what it sounds like on the Sub-Continent of India. Travel some or make more friends and with a little time you will surely understand more variants of English speech better.

I do not want to offend you, but maybe you have to think about the rest of the world, not just India. If you want that your video is understood by the whole world, you have to make it as similar to an American neutral accent, as possible. That is just the way the world is. Otherwise, people just will not understand it... I did not understand what you said, I am Mexican, yet I understand pretty much any other videos... so there you go... if you do not care to be understood by as many people as possible, then keep the Indian accent, people from India will understand you, but half the world will not. So, it is up to you... for instance, us Mexicans and people from Latin America work very hard to have an American accent, just so that we can get a better job. But, again, it's up to you.
