Do you ever use "constant" lighting like an LED panel with a defuser for your shots. Or is it mostly flash lighting (Lets say with one lighting source being a beauty dish) Thank you!

Hi Daria! Sorry about the late reply to your comment! I generally use strobes for my beauty work (1-2 lights including a beauty dish/octabox), however I have also experimented with LED constant lighting before! You just need to ensure that the LED/Constant lights you use have enough power. :)

Hi Kayleigh, so I have a beautyshoot coming up & I'm using the exact settings you mentioned in the video as far as ISO, Apeture & SS. I also have 3 soft box lights I'm using as well but my images are coming out dark. Any suggestion why that might be & is there a way to fix it? I'm assuming my lights may not be strong enough? Thanks!

Hey June! Thanks for your videos! I'm learning a lot. I purchased the Skin Colour Grading Bases - Lightroom CC Presets and on Friday I'm gonna test them out with a model and a MUA. I have planned everything and I'm happy to start my first beauty-shooting. But I still have one question: When shooting makeup / Beauty how do you setup the Focus points. Usually I set up single or 4 focus points and set them on the eye (Outdoor or Studio portraits). But when shooting Makeup / beauty, the focus should be on the makeup / Eyelashes? Or does it even matter, I mean with the aperture 11+ can you really see a difference? Thanks for your help! - I'm gonna send this question it also on IG in hope that I can start on friday confidently :) Cheers Riccardo
