Mine too, seven years ago. It's very important you don't feed the fear with more Googling. Thanks for sharing :)

I am 19 and am suffering from Health Anxiety for almost 2 years...And I think everyone suffering from it too agrees there are many physical symptoms (I myself could count more than 100 that I experienced and still am). And many thoughts, including: illness and death worries and fears, fear of passing out (because of the real symptoms of it, mostly dizziness and strange head feelings), of going out or staying alone, of even some 'what if I die and I end up in hell? I did/am doing some sins...'. Eventually, you start (at least me) to sometimes fear from stupid things or those you never did before, like: public, traffic, storms, numbers....etc. I wish I was the only one having so many problems, but I know it unfortunately is not the case. This video helps a lot, that is for sure. Yet, I know there will be times when even when remembering this video and telling myself it is all "just" health anxiety, it just won't concern me.... Hope we all beat this annoying 'guest'. I understand you all. We are not alone. I love you.Keeo your heads up and fight! We will win!

It's been about 4 months since my health anxiety manifested after I got scared with a medical test that turned out to be nothing. I was so scared one number being higher than normal that I was constantly checking my body for stuff. Now I'm on the road to getting to that place where I'm back to my old self again, without health anxiety weighing me down. DARE really helped me understand what it is I'm experiencing, and that it can't hurt me.

Step 6: Don't Google your symptoms. It's the worst thing any one can do. For example, Google makes you believe you have a brain tumor, but in fact it will be small head ache.

I got a sore muscle last week and I started to think about it. The next day my legs were weak and numb but the sore was gone. Anxiety really affects every part of the body you think about.

I'm only 18, and I've been experiencing health anxiety. I can't sleep every night because I overthink about a simple stomach pain where in fact, it's just a trapped gas. 😗✌🏻

How can one who suffers from health anxiety differentiate between what’s anxiety and what’s actually a serious condition? When I was younger it was easier to convince myself that it’s anxiety but as I’m getting older I’m starting to ask myself the “what if” question- “what if this is rally a mini heart attack?” “What if I really need to go to the hospital “

I have a similar issue where I'm getting body aches all over my body, chest included. I believe it's important to rule it all out, get the tests you need, but don't over do it and increase the strength of anxiety. After that, we still need to address the anxiety itself(regardless of physical symptoms or not). Hope you are doing better

My experience is that once you are sure that you are not having health problem...... The anxiety level will go down to nearly nothing, and all the symptoms can disappear very fast. Our mind is very power in a good way and bad way.
