Shooting at 4k 60 on my camera puts it in aps-c mode, it’s not a huge problem, but I do notice the difference in low light situations. I’m with you on the filming all in 60 though

Nice tips. I shot my first wedding video few months back with just 23mm (=35mm full frame) i think it works fine for "one man band". Next time i will take my 56 (=85mm) with me just for the BOKAH.

I'd like to know, in general, when you're going to film a wedding, in this case the groom, do you plan how it's going to be filmed and everything, or does everything happen on the moment
@WaywardNorth
@WaywardNorth 5 ай бұрын
Having a shot list of potential captures is always a great way to be prepared. Oftentimes the best shots are unscripted and not planned before hand. But it’s always good to over prepare

Hey Wayward North, I have watching you repeatedly. From this video, I see that if I am shooting with another person, I need a 50mm and either an 85mm or 135mm, but alternatively, I should just use a 24-70mm and I am good to go, is it?

Great content as always. Do you find the sigma 18-35 is too loud for video? Wanting to use it for my all purpose lens, though I’ve heard the motors are super loud and in a wedding environment I’m worried it would draw attention and ruin audio when I’m not slowing down my 60p.
@WaywardNorth
@WaywardNorth 3 жыл бұрын
Valid points for sure! If its moments that you could potentially use the ambient audio/sound bytes from the day I would just switch to Manual focus for these moments. This video I am actually using the Sigma 24mm on AF with a Rode Videomic and the motors weren’t distracting at all. I would play around with it, do some tests with your setup but for me I haven’t run into this being too distracting. But just as a precaution, for moments that do require audio, I would just switch to MF.
