When I was younger I was constantly looking for approval from someone who treated me badly, it just made me desperate for them to like me and I thought I was the problem and if I just changed a little, the abuse would stop. I think this was an extreme version of that. It’s insane to me that they didn’t get life in prison, they truly deserved it.

It's actually really common. My mom was involved with gangs in Chicago, and was eventually murdered, the case has basically gone cold, and in fact it's more common for criminals to get away with said crimes than it is for them to get served justice.

It’s honestly great to hear more of the evil that went on behind our heads, it may be so awful that we can’t possibly imagine but at the same time, it helps us understand more about the truth of the world we live in. I personally think that the more us Brits know about the crime going on, we can create defensive strategies. Honestly though we really just need to stop fighting each other

I can’t believe story 5… their sentences weren’t what you’d think it’d be, 25 years really. It’s upsetting, especially hearing how the girl, Bernadette was laughing and torturing her. Yeah the girl shouldn’t have been hanging out with those people in the first place with all those red flags but to give them that sentence isn’t fair for anyone

I couldn't believe that story!!! How evil these girls were, "Seeds of Satan!" I honestly couldn't believe these monsters could do this to a young woman. They should have been imprisoned for the rest of their lives!!! Having two granddaughters myself, I could not imagine how her parents felt, they will never get over the senseless torture these demons put her through.

that's the nonamerican prison system for you. of all the prison systems of the free world, ours tends to be regarded as 1 of the strictest on terms of sentencing to the point many other countries of the free world call our sentencing inhumane just like we call their sentencing soft. they definitely deserved more than 25 years but unfortunately that's not how things tend to work when it comes to the prison system of the other nations considered part of the free world

The story about Sean is from a Vice documentary called "UK's scariest debt collector". The dude that killed himself was raped and it wasn't video but Polaroids. Also, Sean was only along for the ride, it was other dudes who did it. Sean said it freaked him out a bit. Watch the documentary, it's really interesting.
