Honestly wouldn’t surprise me if something similar hasn’t happened in real life in America before. Whether it’s an honest prank or an actual murder covered up by bribing the police, it definitely could happen in a nation run by decadent, greedy, and morally deficient wealthy people.
@magesalmanac64242 жыл бұрын
I saw a study once, that showed the wealthier a person is, the less empathy they tend to have for others.
@Salmakia772 жыл бұрын
It’s a very good story, but I highly doubt it’s true. Of course these things do happen, but would they leave proof around? Polaroids and she conveniently finds them in chronological order. Sure.
@mlk0-02 жыл бұрын
@@Salmakia77 While I was also curious about the order, the narrator doesn't actually say they were. Even mentions shifting through them and laying them on the bed to determine what happened. It's more likely they were loosely organized by time because they happened first downstairs then upstairs, and the narrator, recounting, would primarily remember them in an order that made sense to her. Leaving pictures of the crime when obviously *insanely* wasted isn't implausible. Jodi Arias happened, for one example, and she wasn't at a party with drugs and alcohol. Sure, we don't have proof this story is real, but it's not like things like that never occur

In the story of the Japanese brother who died, if his siblings allowed him to die so they could have more space in the house, why then did they not clear out the room for over 5 years? I'm not saying they didn't allow him to die (or that they did), but the motive of wanting more space in the house doesn't make sense.
@GalinaEv2 жыл бұрын
I've heard a few stories that in Japan relatives let old ppl die and just don't report it, so they can collect their pensions. Maybe neighbors started to ask too many questions, so they had to report him missing. But why wait another 5 years to clean?

This kind if stuff happens a ton in upper society because when you have people with too much money and nothing to do they become chaotic and terrifying if given the chance to be. Kinda like that experiment where they gave some regular dudes the authority of guards and told them to be like a guard over thier friends and went crazy. Hmmm. Crazy, i hope. One day, stuff like this will be less as more people get the help they need and money is spread out rather than gathered in a few peoples wallets. Wishful thinking! Lol

What sucks about the story with the Grandma's once it gets to a certain point no matter how much you tell them who you are or show them pictures or explain they still don't know. For a good while I thought my grandmother still knew who we were and everything and we went through the motions and she even acted like she knew who we were and then her last Thanksgiving before she passed away which was in 2020 when covid was going around. We went to see her and have dinner with her for Thanksgiving and she was saying some weird things so I asked her I was like who am I? And she thought I was my mother and I asked her if she knew who my children were and she just started bawling because she had no idea who any of us were but she knew that we were family and she was so scared because she never knew who anyone was or where she was or what was going on and then she passed it a few months later

It's a sad and scary story, I've been through this three times with my grandparents and one of my dogs. Yes, dogs get dementia, too. I feel for that woman in the story because I worry if this could happen to my mom or will this happen to me? I am sorry about your grandma, but am hoping she's at peace. Also, this is what happened to Barbara Walters, this is why she was out of the limelight, she had Alzheimer's or a form of dementia and just recently passed. My love and empathy for all those who have witnessed and lost a loved one with dementia or Alzheimer's.

Honestly, the first story kinda sounds more like some fetishy BDSM stuff was going on than an actual crime. Might look horrifying from an outside perspective, sure - especially if you're a fairly vanilla person who has no interest in that kind of thing - but doesn't have to be sinister.
