If anything a small fortune is worth taking home that way situations like these could be avoided but I doubt it. People go crazy for to make quick cash. If the man decided to take his six thousand dollar winnings im pretty sure he would still be a selfish price and rob the dying man anyway.

Story 3: “I know what I am, I’m a monster...but I’m not a liar.” Sure, if you don’t count lying to your wife, maybe your kids, and maybe to yourself, then yeah. Not judging or anything, but I’m pretty sure the reason he didn’t tell his wife was not because she wouldn’t believe him, but she would leave him and perhaps turn him in.

Agreed. I thought he was going to just recount something unexplainable, then when he describes leaving that man to die and taking his money, my heart dropped into my stomach in absolute horror. His wife deserves to know what happened and make her own judgement (I would certainly leave him) - the fact he admits his morality hasn’t changed at all from doing something so heinous means he’s a threat that should be put behind bars. It isn’t enough to have a guilty conscious if he’s fully aware he’s capable of being that awful again for his own selfishness.

Me, my sister, our parents, and my infant daughter were in Las Vegas when the 2017 shooting happened. I remember it like it was yesterday. Nobody knew if there were multiple shooters or just one, the hotels were going into lockdown etc. During the shooting, we all were eating inside a restaurant in one of the hotels. Suddenly people start panicking and running so that’s when we started running too and ran through a door for the employees inside the restaurant. There was a women and man that held the door open for us and let us go in first since my daughter was with us. I’m forever grateful for them and wish I could tell them thank you. Turns out people started running because they saw that security was running so they got freaked out, at least that’s what I heard. I remember being at the very bottom of the hotel where all the other employees were and even some random woman exclaiming about Jesus which kind of scared my mom even though she’s a catholic. We were staying in the aria and we could see a bunch of cop cars outside of the hotel room. It’s something I’ll never forget. RIP to those that lost their lives that day ❤️

I think it sounds a lot like fiction, because police follows up on a dropped 911 call so fast, it'll make your head spin. There would be an investigation on the mystery man that left a crime scene abruptly. He may even be considered a suspect. It just doesn't sound believable

Very true. My dad broke his leg 2 days ago after he fell off a little cliff on his dirt bike. He was stuck in the Mojave desert for an hour before being rescued by helicopter. He’s recovering fine and out of the hospital now but he has a titanium rod in his leg due to his injuries

Fun fact 2 days ago my dad broke his leg in the Mojave without cell service. He was dirt biking with his friend and my dad fell off a little cliff. My dad was stuck in the desert for an hour with a broken leg while my dads friend searched for help. They found someone with a land line and had a helicopter come rescue him. He now has a titanium rod in his leg due to his injuries.

Hey I hope I'm not commenting too late for everyone to see but first story, Kevin Mendiola - died a hero but when I looked it all up, Vegas Sun reports him as being shot in his pickup truck and no other articles mention him beyond being a victim. I can relate to the idea...you die heroically on your feet, someone tries to tell your story...and in the end your reported as being shot while sitting - unless I missed something

I need clarification on something: Story 4 about Jeremy Strohmeyer, he committed the crime around 4 am, not in the afternoon. Those children were running around playing a game and in the arcade in a casino at 4 in the morning from the multiple reports I’ve read, but the person saying they witnessed it refers to “that afternoon”. And their whole family was up at that hour getting, what, early breakfast? They discovered the little girl at around 5 am, I believe. Maybe someone didn’t witness it but is using what they read about the case to tell a story as if they were there. Nothing is revealed that wasn’t publicly released, even the clothes Jeremy wore. So, you see what I mean? In which case, I’d say, just tell the story. You don’t have to pretend you witnessed anything and could’ve stepped in. Jeremy’s friend David covered for him and they left soon after, without ever reporting it. So the truth is horrible enough.

There are a lot of perverts here. I've had all types of encounters but had the smarts to yell, curse them out, act like a crazy person or ditch them. I’ve heard about story 5 before, the decoy mannequins, but, as with every time I’ve heard about it, I was struck by the ingenuity of the police officers in setting up that sting operation. Be careful, human trafficking is very real. Never take a ride with someone claiming to be one of those casino driver companies unless you order one. Honestly bring pepper spray cause some of the homeless can be chaotic late at night.

I remember reading about that rampage on or after Thanksgiving. I think he killed someone in the store, and looked at a woman in a car, and said, "You won't die today." Can you imagine that? Imagine someone having so much power over your life and deciding whether or not you live or die? I have friends out in Vegas (particularly in Henderson) who I was really worried about until I heard whether or not they were okay, so this story sticks out.

I love your channel so much but that story about the girl had me feeling so much. I was unsettled, broken and I almost had a huge crying fit. I was asking myself why did this story effect me the way it did. I just couldn’t find the words to say exactly what I wanted to say. I don’t know how you made it reading that story.

I'm sorry that that section hurt you so bad. Jeremy was bad but his friend was just as complicit in Sherrice's death. "The Bad Samaritan" is a video that talks about how terrible the friend is in the situation too but he didn't get in trouble for his lack of response to what his friend did.
