Finally PA stories NOT from Gettysburg. Not that I don't love the place but I lived there for many many years so no stories seem "new" to me. As for the email. Be diligent but don't let it consume you. Its terrifying when someone threatens your privacy in such a manner that can make you feel vulnerable in your safe place. I had an incident in York where someone had left a note on my car, then found out where I worked and called in/came in maybe? along with a few other things.... the worst part was, no name, no face to the name, they knew me, my schedule, my life. But I knew nothing of them. Every person could of been them. It was terrible, I was just a kid at the time (16-18) and sometimes still wonder if they're like out there at a distance.

Man, I missed the last part of the live last night and hearing the last story was crazy. A few nights ago on a live I remember someone insistently asking where you were from in PA and then when you said you weren't going to tell us some people got really touchy or upset about it saying "What we can't ask anything now?" I think you handled the situation well on the live explaining that after reading all the stories of stalkers you keep things like your location private because of stuff like that. I mean, it makes sense why you would need to. I know many of us that are regulars on the lives make stupid comments or thirst comments for fun and laughs, most hiding behind their anonymity of their screenname or handles. I'm just sorry some people take this stuff too far. Stay safe and your fans will understand why you don't share so much about your personal life.

Just finished the whole video. You should at least think about making a police report on your troll/stalker. Whether it's real or creative writing, it's just way too much. I personally don't get the feeling it's just a weirdo creative writer, I get the feeling it's an obsessed fan. A normal person wouldn't want to risk the fallout from such. I'd definitely keep my guard up and be extra aware. And fyi, most fans do not want a face reveal, it takes away from the mystery.

A narrator of creepy stories is sent a creepy stalker email, giving the narrator his own personal story to read on the channel. Yikes! I think I speak for most of us when I say that we all hope that this was indeed just a troll, but still, you should take it seriously, just in case. Take careful note of any strange interactions, anomalies in your day-to-day life, and definitely hold onto that email in case you decide to file a police report in the future. More than likely, it was someone who just wants to spook you and, as you said, trying to flex their creative writing skills. We all hope as much, at least! "Let's bleed"? More like "let's not meet". OMG! I do hope you made police aware of this! For the life of me I can't understand why people seem to think the people they follow on youtube, or any social media owes them anything!!! Creators put these things up for us to enjoy, to learn or maybe help with something. All of the ones, like this one, are free. Yet some feel that they are owed by the creators? If you haven't paid for something, then you should have no say oh how something is done!!! If you don't like what you see or hear, no one has you strapped in a clockwork orange chair, you are free to shut it off. Go make your own channel where you can do it your way and see how long before you are attacked by how you run your channel. These video's take hours to prepare and then upload. These creators could be doing other things without having to listen to treats or abuse! Plese, before you think you are "owed" something or have a right to tell someone how to run their channel. These are some disturbing and truly haunting cases. The real life stuff is always harder to fathom than the fictitious ones. I feel compelled to share with you that the personal stalker email you shared at the end is genuinely terrifying. My blood ran cold while listening to you read it. Please seriously consider contacting the authorities. That way, at least there will something on record. It may not seem like much use right now, but it couldn't hurt. If you ever receive anything similar again, it would be more evidence added to the case, maybe prompting the IT dept to look into it in earnest. There are way too many sick and dangerous people walking around out there with hidden, horrific intentions. No such thing as 'too careful' I would personally rather assume this person is dangerous than take it too lightly- especially since it concerns threats to my life and could possibly affect my loved ones as well. We only get one this one life (as far as anyone knows) so please protect yourself. This world is a better place with you in it! Myself personally, listening to your channel has helped me get through some pretty rough patches and soothed the anxiety of countless sleepless nights. After reading so many comments from your subscribers over time, it is clear that most of them feel the same way too. Seriously, even a year later I hurt my heart to hear that someone who calls themselves a true fan has taken their obsession into the realm of evil and is threatening his life. Joel is the last person to deserve that- none of us want him to give himself to us, we just like how he narrates stories so well and enjoy listening to him. From philly and live exactly 1 block over from Ralphs. Saw a neighbors head get stomped after he got in a fight and got kicked out the bar. Theres a group of homeless that hang out right outside the bar and they all got up and started yelling and tellin people to give them space to fight. It was crazy. There was one person who finally stepped up and grabbed the dude who was stomping this guy and pulled him to the ground before he damn near killed the man on the ground. I could hear him on the ground knocked out cold snoring real loud. Ambulance and police came, everyone scattered. Half the people went back inside the bar to finish they drinks! Crazy. All this happened because the man aint like the way my neighbor looked at him. Too much anger and poverty down here and were all packed in like rats in a cage. Vicious.

Yikes. I've seen enough in different fanbases to know that the last one might not be a troll. There are some weirdos who get obsessed with celebrities/content creators and end up stalking them, doxxing them, harassing their loved ones when they don't get what they want from them etc. Among the people who simp for you and your voice there could easily be a really unstable person who has latched onto you, and you need to be really careful man

I’ve had the same stalker for over two years. He will reach out periodically through email, every time I block him, he just makes a new email, a new KZbin channel. He has violently threatened me numerous times, very similar to your email. What a shame. We create content on KZbin, to help others, and to build a community, we have to deal with psychos like this.
