Personal theory, as the writer said he barely got any sleep before the exploration. With being tired you can get easily lost. I don’t think there was a person following him. A million things could sound like footsteps and when you’re both tired and panicked you usually think for the worst. TLDR: guy was sleep deprived and was going through an episode

This one was so good. Subways are a great topic. The Cincinnati one was one of the best, if not the best, and one of the scariest stories I've heard in any horror narration. The Cincinnati story kind of reminds me of a similar type story that happened in Japan but instead of a person retelling what happened to them the story unfolds while the person is lost through a thread on some Japanese website. I’m pretty sure it’s like just one of those creepypasta type stories but it’s still very intriguing. It’s called Kisaragi Station

People live in the abandoned ones in some places. I've even seen one that had electricity and running water. Just on the grid and forgotten by those above. Too bad the humans down there are really in a bad way. Some just poor others sick, most addicts and crazy

I used to live in the Oakland area, and I worked in the city a couple times a week, for which I'd commute via BART. One time, on my way home, a man, who looked eerily similar to Don Cheadle, entered the car and started harassing this older woman, trying to get up in her personal space making pelvic thrusts against her. Nobody (myself included) was doing anything about it despite the fact that she politely asked him to leave her alone. Thankfully, another passenger, a taller woman who you could tell reeked of authority, took control of the situation and told him to back off and peacefully walk away. She didn't back down even when he gave her the finger. He eventually relented and left the car. (Obviously, it wasn't Rhodey from "Avengers" because I hear in real life, he's actually a sweetheart, who probably he has better things to do than give a stranger a hard time for minding her own business, but I wanted to help you visualize the scene I witnessed.)

The guy who went down in the tunnels should have known that went exploring a vast tunnel system that you're unfamiliar with, you always bring chalk so you can mark your way and find your way back if you get lost, smh. Plus you can wipe the chalk off on your way out so you follow the whole "leave it like you found it" unspoken rule...:)

Love listening to these stories every Monday, Wednesday and Friday! Great way to start the week, and to end the week. The comedian guy didn't deserve the girl to poke him with a syringe at all. However he doesn't know what he's talking about, and he totally embellished a part. And he also shouldn't be making jokes about it now. I work in the medical field specifically with ppl who may or may not have HIV and or Hep C. It's hard work and it's also not just "junkies " diseases

The guy who got stabbed in the butt? I didn't want to say anything bad cuz I LOVE LR but that story made me cringe. "Poor guy" got stabbed in the bum and had a bad night... a "junkie" is an addict, addiction is a disease. The kindest filter of my thoughts was "dude.. just leave her alone." The only time I didn't love a story.
