One thing that helps me a lot is doing chores or any other activity in my home and narrate what i'm doing. Sometimes i do this in my mind, sometimes i speak aloud - well not aloud but a bit louder than whispering, because i don't want that my neighbours think i lost my mind. 😂 This is a nice way to repeat and train my vocabulary and at the same time i practice the pronunciation. And every now and then i stumble across objects in my appartment of which i don't know the english word - i look it up and just like that i've learned something new.

To my mind ma'am, you're absolutely right ma'am that we have problem because we don't speak that's why we have to face difficulties when it comes to speaking english. Ma'am I always try to follow the instructions to see quintessential videos of every native speaker of English and try to be the copy cat so that I could speak good english. Thanks Sabrah and Leila ma'am for their golden and valuable tips. Have a blast ma'am 🙏 NAMASTE 🙏

Flawless lesson , another day In the office to our gorgeous teacher , blues agrees with you perfectly. In my view Improving your listening is a great way to improve your English when you do not have a speaking partner after all we learn our mother language by listening first . You could start by watching cartoons from your childhood, cartoons that put a smile on your face when you were a kid ( you have to use a source you are really into ) I love anything about Batman , I’ve been watching the animated series from the 90s lately , it’s useful because they used a modern pace with a lot of slangs , phrasal verbs , idiomatic expressions natives use all the time . Friends is algo a fantastic show to learn English , they tell a lot of jokes and make fun of their culture ( American English ) .The last show I binge on Netflix was sex education and I noticed a huge improvement since the previous season ( 2018 ) . When you understand the main point of your favorite tv show , your favorite song , it feels some awesome , when gets the time to speak you already get bigger weapons . You always put a smile on my face Queen Sabrah , thank you again , time to get back to work , is the any collab in the pipeline ?

Hi Sabrah, Your lesson provide knowledgeable information about how to practice English speaking with oneself. I admire your suggestions, your suggestions are very helpful for all learners. Some jokes: 1. Lady 1- My son is very well behaved. Lady, 2- How can you say that? Wasn't he arrested and imprisoned for 5 years. Lady 1- Yes, but he got out after 2 years for good behaviour inside the jail. 2. Team work is important, it helps you put the blame on someone 3. Is Google a woman? Because it won't let you finish your sentence without coming up with other suggestion. 4. If you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of payment. 5. Friend 1-Is it true that your wife talks to herself when she is alone? Friend 2- I don't know. I wasn't with her when she was alone. Thank you.

Hi Sabrah., thanks so much. I have a challenge when follow-up news in English on TV whether reading the subtitles or listening to news presenter; he/she keeps saying or writing in the subtitle for example" 17 killed or injured in......". is this Grammarly correct? since it is known from the context who were killed are objects while it takes subject position without using auxiliary "is or are". is there a rule for that? could you help, please?

I want to tell jokes or in this case write. Teacher = " Why are you talking during my lesson " Student = " Why are you teaching during my conversation. Next A doctor and engineer loved the same girl. Doctor used to give her a rose daily. Engineers used to give the girl an apple. Girl got confused and asked , There is a meaning of giving rose. why are you giving apple? Engineer = because "an apple a day keeps the doctor away". Next Bob has 36 candy bars. He eats 29. What does he have now? Diabetes Bob has diabetes.

😊Hi Sabrah. I've always enjoyed your lesson. You've given us great advice on how to practice English speaking. I love it all! But, I have to admit that personality I'm practicing speaking English with my dog only. Also, have some partners from the dating web site and we're chatting through Skype. That's safe, far away. I like the jokes, that for sure. Can't put down any good one here, cos contents the 'F' word. Others aren't so good. Please, can you tell me a sentence that ends with "then"? I 've told you already one.👍

Hey Sabrah, I didn't say that I know only rude jokes, what I meant to say that those are for adults. No, my dog never answers back but is the world's best listener. I have just wrote to you in the last sentence a joke. Tell it for your friends and wait if someone can create a sentence that ends with 'then'.😄 Have a nice weekend.

Thank you very much! Great tips, all of them, really useful. Absolutely 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time', and the audiobook brilliant! I found lovely the 'Wimpy Vampire' and 'Wimpy Werewolf' series, also David Walliams novels (Gangsta Granny...), I don't know whether they qualify as jokes, but I always found hilarious some movie scripts, which links to tip no. 6, 'liked it better than Pirates of Penzance' (Pretty Woman). Now, the sad news of Terry Jones passing brought back a shipload of hysterically funny pages. Here is one: 'I want you all to call me Loretta', google 'The Grumpy People's Front of Judea' and you will find the whole scene. Or the 3 Wise Men 'You are all drunk, it's disgusting!' bit. - 'what is myrrh anyway?'
