the vault tec one was actually answered. The enclaves original plan to avoid nuclear war by using a generational starship to head to another planet. The vaults were designed in many cases to test situations that the crew might get, such as radiation leaks, equipment failures and more exotic incidents.

I don't think you understood what was happening in the Assassin's Creed games. In AC Liberation, Abstergo made a game about Aveline de Grandpre. That game showed her being a senseless killer as an Assassin who eventually realized the error of her ways and became a Templar. However, someone hacked the game for you to show you the truth behind Abstergo's game (where the people Aveline killed were actually bad people, and how Aveline only joined the Templars as a trick so she could kill them and carry on the Assassins). Then, in AC Black Flag, you are working as an employee for Abstergo. This means that you are going through the real historical memories that will later be edited and turned into a game that portrays Edward as a ruthless and merciless pirate. They just have you doing the initial research (as well as trying to find the Observatory for them). Also, I have no doubt that Abstergo intended to use Shay's story from AC Rogue as another way to turn people to their side (because that is precisely what they were doing with you as the employee).

I can explain the vault tech one. They were planning to move to another planet after the earth got fucked up and all the test were done to see if they survive in a spaceship for years. For example, the vault in fallout 4 tested the people on cryogenic sleep to see if it would work in space.

Vault Tech was studying the effects of isolation, but also what would happen under various stressful situations because the Enclave wanted to escape Earth and colonize a new world and wanted to figure out how people would respond under any circumstances encountered during space travel, hence the small, isolated shelters

there's a reason why vault-tec made the vaults, for the enclave. the enclave were planning on moving to another habitable planet even before the war.so the vaults were made as experiments to help the enclave not screw up, and create a perfect society

Yeah, that one isn't even a mystery. The group that would become the Enclave knew things were screwed up and needed to make sure that there'd be no problems stuffing a bunch of colonists into limited-space ships to get to a new planet, and that they'd be able to handle things when they got there. Hence, a bunch of vaults with special experiments being run to test people, and a few vaults for control where nothing was meant to go wrong.

My question with Robotnik/Eggman's reason for conquering the world with robots- how does that help him achieve his dream of building the greatest amusement park in history? In more recent games and the [non-canon] Sonic Boom TV show, it's said that Eggman's dream is to create the world's best theme park- and in almost every Sonic game, there's an overly elaborate theme park/casino stage that is implied (though never confirmed) to have been built be him. Hell, Sonic Colours is all about him trying to enslave an alien race to power a theme park/space-station hybrid! But how do airship fleets, armies of robots and the building of 'the Eggman Empire' help him do that?

For the one about how is Fazbear Entertainment still around. Dr. Robotnik puts animals into robots because it is basically what turns and powers on robots, and occasionally he keeps luring Sonic by using animals as live bait if he does survive his robots and traps he has set up, so basically he is luring Sonic into a giant failing bear-trap. That's why Eggman's true goal is to kill Sonic is to test his survival skills on a life or death situation, he is secretly planning and scanning all of Sonic's attacks and survivability with recording camera's in the robot's lenses, that's why nearly all of them have eyes.

So, they decided to scale the experiment - 20 men on 1 puma - equal enough for both sides to be dangerous to one another and for people to manage to control the situation somehow. Vault 69 had 1 Male and 999 Females inside of it to begin with, Vault 111 was to see how long people could be frozen, Vault 101 was to see what would happen if a confined settlement had an outsider come in, and many Vaults are similar.

Bethesda has probably retconned it, but according to Fallout creator Tim Cain and Fallout 2's design documents, the Vault experiment was intended to help facilitate the Enclave's exodus from Earth on board a spaceship. For those that weren't aware, Vault-Tec was a front for the U.S. government/the Enclave. The individual vaults, as originally imagined, were intended to test a variety of possible issues involved in long-term space travel (social dynamics, the effects of cosmic radiation, etc.) Besides, there were control Vaults (as in a control group in a study,) that functioned as advertised and received the "all clear" signal not from Vault-Tec, but from the Enclave, which remotely monitored the Vaults and collected the relevant data from the experiment vaults.

The first one has several answers, the first one is they will edit key moments to change the perspective people have about it, look to assassins creed liberation, some key moments were edited to make the templars look good and then the game "rewinded" showing what truly happened. Another answer is that they want to use the memories of assassins to discover where some artifacts like the apple of Eden was hiden.

If you do the extra stuff in the Abstergo buildings, the hacking and recovering tablets and such, you find out that all animus research employees are strictly bound to secrecy of what they discover during their search (and probably killed if they share info). The extra stuff you find tells you that a lot of the assassins you plas as, Ezio, Connor, Edward, even Altair I believe, are going to be spun as renegades, thugs, basically bad influences. Their stories are altered or even completely dropped; Abstergo Entertainments actually decided that the female assassin's (can't remember her name) early life/assassin period of her life would be glossed over, while her apparent high class and ladylike behavior later in life would be over emphasized. It is basically entertainment "loosely" based on historic actuality with a twist

Just to point out ONE huge thing you missed. YES, Abstergo make assassins creed games, BUT, the game WE actual people play, is the abstergo research team, the game those inside the game would play, would not be the same as our game. They'd play the heavily censored Abstergo game where Edward would be seen as a pirate only, and no mention of the assassins would be there, because REMEMBER THIS, Abstergo is a part of the templars, the templars hired YOU under the guise of researching for their "game" but whilst in your research, you come across things like the apple or the observatory, which to the templars is USEFUL information and a way for them to control the world, but only THEY know what they're looking for in that respect, you the researcher, have no idea about the higher motives. So the game Abstergo makes, would NOT have every little detail that was found by the researcher and any reference to the assassins could easily be hacked and changed or edited out completely. So, Abstergo AREN'T glorifying the assassins, they're glorifying PIRATES. Use logic. It's not that hard and thus "why do abstergo make games that promotes the assassin?" mystery is not actually a mystery at all, just an ill thought through idea that doesn't hold up when logic is applied even slightly.

Regarding ME3, I am one of those hold-outs that believe in the "Indoctrination theory:" that Shepherd was fighting his own indoctrination by the Reapers, and the choice of Synthesis, or controlling the Reapers would be giving up the fight for his soul, whereas destroying the Reapers would be the choice to continue the fight or shake off their influence. Probably isn't right, and Occam's Razor leads one to believe that EA merely crapped the bed with those "choices," but I choose to be an optimist and believe I committed mass xenocide of a pernicious alien race.

The vaults were to test human's conditions when exposed to certain things dangerous to our health so that they can revise this and find a suitable planet to rehome the human race. The experiments like "letting in a bit of radiation for fun" was to test how long and how efficiently vault dweller's bodies coped when exposed to high bursts of radiation. It wasn't "for fun" but for science to see if humans could thrive under harsh conditions, such as a radioactive world (bearing in mind that the vaults were planned and build before the great war). As well as the panther experiment; "could mankind coexist with a beast of prey in solitary confinement?", vault 101: "Is it possible to freeze humans for long periods of time in order to preserve their health, genes and psychological state?" etc. I don't really understand what the mystery is when pretty much every part of the FO lore is covered in the games. We know when and for what purpose the vaults were created. Most of the time the vaults did end up with inhumane suffering of the dwellers, but this was their purpose. When anybody is subject to things which pose as a threat to our health then they're of course going to suffer some impacting side effects.

The vault-tec one isn't a mystery. The enclave's concept of a post-war america was so bleak, they eventually settled on the worst case scenario. Which was that the entire planet would be uninhabitable. In other words one huge "glowing sea". To which end, they had a rocket built to launch them into space to colonize another planet. But ofcourse they needed to figure out how to survive up there in space. So, in conjunction with the US military, they made "project safehouse" to test the human ability to adapt to different scenarios and situations that would occur off earth, so the enclave would know what to expect and how to adapt when they fled the planet. Mystery solved.

My theory on the synthesis mass effect ending is that created a psychological/programing effect that made everyone feel as if organic and mechanical were now the same thus eliminating the need for conflict. In effect everyone is socially/technologically conditioned to ignore differences. STARS itself isn't part of the RPD but share the building (which is the real mystery), but the RPD itself DOES have a SWAT team as seen in RE3. Okay, to be fair Liberation WAS supposed to be heavily censored in how it depicted the Assassins. The "Censored" version was essentially claiming that Aveline eventually discovered she couldn't defeat the Templars and eventually joined them. It's only when the game is hacked that players are able to access the uncensored content. Case in point: the game seems to end with the implication that Aveline joins the Templars, and it is only through completing a bonus level (again, the work of the hackers) that you get to see the ACTUAL ending of the game. Some of it also had to do with Abstergo's agenda. In the case of Black Flag, wasn't there a recurring theme in the modern-day portions of the company's higher ups (i.e. the TEMPLARS) constantly interfering with the production of games for specific reasons. As I recall their main investment in the game was locating the Observatory (with the player getting a lot of pressure to focus on finding it over other parts of Kenway's experience). If I remember correctly Black Flag also indicated that Abstergo's entertainment division was founded more as a means of income (presumably financing projects the Templars consider higher priority) than a propaganda machine.
