So much one addition to Reason has made. I'm thinking about routing my kids into BeatMap soon. A little cleaning their rooms followed by the dishes and even walking the dog with some alternates like taking out the garbage and heading to bed early to switch things up a little. 8) Always interesting and never boring mate. Hey I gotta question for you every time I use a device from player beat map, scales and chrods ect when ever I drag them into the rack id8 attaches it self why I don't understand? Can you help me

Hmm.. I don't know man, that sounds unusual. Every time I drag one in my itself the MIDI Out device attaches, which is what should happen. I'd suggest reinstalling it if it's doing something weird. If the problem persists, you'll have to email Reason Studios.

@@matthewstuartnz yea just spoke to the reason team. They said it's in the new update that Whenever you drag a device from player it automatically attaches id8 which is stupid. You actually have to drag a device from player into a instrument on the rack.

Oh yea, that is dumb. It's doing it for me in the standalone version. But in the VST it adds a MIDI Out.

@@matthewstuartnz it sound like a toy.. i prefer analog recordings the oldskool way with real drums and such. Im a reason user since day 1 but all those so called updates are not my kind of stuff. I feel they letting us die hard users down. My 2 cents. Cheers!

I wish! lol nah I’m just a fan of the product and excited about what they are doing right now. Also, helps me think of fresh ways to use stuff myself. I’ve definitely got opinions regarding what I want them to do. And making videos seems to be the best way to encourage community discussion and hopefully help shape the direction of the product. I was a little dark about it for a while but I think they are getting back on the right track. 👍🏻
