Thank you for opening up about how you’re feeling. I had my first baby 2 1/2 months ago and I’m struggling with some mild postpartum depression. I never thought I would be one to struggle with PPD but one thing I’ve had to come to terms with is depression does not discriminate. You’re doing amazing mama.

I’m due with our first baby January 15th! So excited, seeing you love on your babies and make time for your marriage as well while keeping the spirits up in the house (especially that clip at breakfast) is very encouraging! Best of luck transitioning to receiving that help you need to do what you love ❤️

Totally get the mom guilt thing! I stay at home full time and work from home full time and I lasted about 8 months with my first baby until I realized I needed some help during the day. Now we have a nanny come twice a week for 5hrs…the reality is that my baby girl gets to have some undivided attention from the nanny for those hours and I get 10hrs of uninterrupted work time during my week which is huge!! We recently found out we are pregnant with baby #2 and I fully intend on having help with this baby even earlier than the last because it’s worth it for my sanity! Don’t feel the shame, you’re doing your best mama!

I completely understand the mom guilt! I work full time and have a very demanding job. We don’t have family nearby so we don’t have much help. I didn’t want to send my baby to daycare (because of mom guilt) so we ended up hiring a nanny. Even that made me feel bad but now that my daughter is 17 months and we have a routine I’ve learned that it’s ok as long as you know that the person watching your baby is good and have the same values. Now, she (our nanny) is part of our family ❤. It’s also been SO good for my mental health. The best part about working from home is that you can still take breaks here and there and you don’t feel like you are missing out on big moments 🥰. You got this!

The first 2 weeks after birth I tend to feel so loopy and emotional too. I just had my third baby and I always feel like I'll never get out of the baby blues when I'm in the midst of it. Transitioning from 0 to 1 baby was tough, from 1 to 2 babies was very hard for me too. The most recent transition from 2 to 3 has been easiest, but it is never truly easy if you ask me! Hang in there mama, all will fall into place! Also, I always get my period back around the 2 month mark and have felt like that's waaaay to early. I'm so sorry it's even sooner for you!

I am 3.5 weeks pp with my second. It can be very difficult. I am truly lifting you up in prayer to our Father in Jesus’s name. Read Psalms 91 even if you don’t believe, bc it’s full of promises to help you when you are in need. Take things minute by minute when it’s cloudy or hard to feel the joy. I’m right here with you impatiently waiting on my baby to latch and to feel like myself again. I suffered severe ppa with my first 10 years ago, but even then before I knew The Lord, He rescued me. He will rescue you from any storm big or small. ❤❤❤❤

So I got pregnant with my little boy in Feb of 2021, had him in Nov of 2021, breastfed for 8 months all the while having no period and 2 months later, I found out I was two months pregnant lol! So AS SOON AS I stopped breastfeeding, I got pregnant 😂 so now, I’m almost 6 months pregnant with our little girl. So I haven’t had a period in like.. 1 year and 9 months. And won’t for another 3 months AT LEAST. I’m okay if I don’t have a period while breastfeeding again 😂 CRAZY right

How many hours of sleep would you say you’re getting at the moment? And how often does Jude wake up? Sleep deprivation is the biggest contributor to baby blues and mild PPD for me 😢 My baby is 2.5 weeks old 💕 I also struggle with not having as much time to spend with my toddler, we’ve always been so close so I’ve been feeling incredibly lonely! My husband does everything with her at the moment, it’s hard!

Thank you for the honesty and openness! As a full time nanny, I can guarantee the parents I work with are amazing parents! I bring my baby girl to work with me so I can’t speak from the parent perspective. However, don’t doubt your effectiveness as a parent because you ask for help. God made you their momma for a reason and will give you peace about whatever decision is best for you and your babies!🤍

When did you stop bleeding? We had our babies days apart and I bled until 4 weeks had a few light days and then bled again for about 1 week. Wondering if that was my period 😬 I’m also exclusively breastfeeding Also what bottle are you using when you go out? My baby girl will not take a bottle of any sort. Super stressful for when I have to go out
@BethGraceMoore2 жыл бұрын
I stopped bleeding really early this time!! It was fully done by 2 weeks pp and I only wore liners for that second week. So it was far enough away enough and with cramps so I knew for sure 😂 for bottles we use Phillips Avent with a size 1 nipple!

Girrrrl, I’m 7.5 months in w 2 under 3 and still am flying by the seat of my pants, so no worries! 😂… Also, so curious, and maybe you’d do a whole video on this, but how do you do natural family planning while breastfeeding? Maybe this is diff for me too bc last time I didn’t get my period back for a year, but I just didn’t know where to start w it while breastfeeding. I’d love to try it, but also reallllly would like to delay a 3rd a few years until our family has more stability.
