I started doing the mass building program you outlined a couple a videos ago and I can't believe how much more efficient it is than my past program and how much more work I get done in the gym, while spending less time there. As a broke college student I can't thank you enough for posting so much free knowledge on youtube. A lot of fitness channels post 20 minute videos with 30 seconds of content and 19.5 minutes of filler, you post 20 minute videos with an hour of content. Hopefully in a couple years I'll be able to support the content instead of just watching the free videos!

I travel every week, have for years, and from a hotel standpoint I try to stick to Home2. They are always clean, they all have the same equipment, and their rooms and beds are excellent! With that said I have learned to search for local gyms more and more. I have found that the vast majority have day/weekly rates that are very reasonable. Like the MetroFlex in Tyler, TX - $5 a day and has almost everything you could want. Gym One in Austin, TX is $20 a day / $40 a week and is amazing! Chattanooga Functional Fitness is another great one too (may be my home gym as well...lol). I have found local spots from Birmingham to Vegas and this has been able to keep me much more focused on my training even with the amount of travel I do. Plus you are supporting a local business and gym owner!!

Bulgarian split squats with dumbbells are a pretty good way to feel some intensity with light weight. I train these even when I don’t travel just so I can follow my program whenever I’m on the road.

If you're at the beach, find the biggest sand dunes you can fine and do hill sprints in the sand. I promise it sucks but thankfully if your at the beach already its easy to cool off as you go.

Anchorage, AK, the downtown Alaska Club. Not as good as my garage but not bad and is next to hotel most flight crews stay at. Best (only) black iron gym in town is Southside Strength & Fitness. Excellent gym, they host Powerlifting and Olympic meets and have everything you need including a lot of strongman equiptment.

The Crowne Plaza in Times Square is in the same building as a New York Sports Club and if you stay there, you get to use the gym. They have just about anything you need for a great workout. Thanks, Brian!

I travel a lot for work, and I always need new ideas. This is great! The luxor in las vegas has a good gym, (a lot of cable machines, pull up opposing cable machine combo station, dumbells over 50lbs, barbells up to 120lbs, and a Smith machine.) It is also super cheap during the week. Mariott in Philadelphia airport has a huge and nice gym. A few Smith machines, dumbells, and several flat and incline bench presses. I have found that many commercial when you say "I'm on business" will work out a shortened term deal instead of signing up or paying crazy day pass rates, or will even let you in free, especially the smaller local gyms. Recently I've found the university gym in Huntsville, AL and the new Golds in aneheim both have olympic platforms, bumpers, and several squat racks.

These are some great workouts. I travel for work and have a hard time taking a week off from my normal program and then trying to figure out what I'm going to get done in the crappy hotel gym. I usually end up in the gym without much of a plan and just do a higher volume push/pull/legs bro session.

In Golden, British Columbia, Canada, there is a Ramada hotel off the main highway that goes through town that has an awesome gym. Squat racks, benches, bars and even some good machines if you are in to that. Dumbbells and a couple grip implements too.

Awesome video Brian. If anyone has to spend time in Livonia Michigan (just outside Detroit, business/office parks galore) the Schoolcraft College has a great gym for $5/day drop in. It's within a mile of many of the hotels so walking is an option. I went between 4:45 and 5:15 and it wasn't busy at all.

The Hilton Berlin (yes Germany) has oly weights and a smith machine. Also cables and a few ergs. Then the Luitpoldpark-Hotel in Fussen Germany has an actual gym attached to it that is a separate entity that the hotel barters with so the guests have access.

Sorry didn't mean to get political here, but Brian , really appreciate that you put up the flag of my country, Taiwan in your gym 5:42. This is a flag from a democratic country that UN dare not hang in their hall, nor Olympic dare to show it in the Olympic games, due to constant messed-up oppressions from China. Thank you. Greetings from Taiwan =)

Loray Athletic Club Gastonia, NC / The Rock Fitness Shelby NC - I had to spend a lot of time in this area last year for work and Charlotte was too far away to drive everyday. Not a hotel gym, but close to several hotels in the area. The owners were generous and just charged me a $25 dollar fee for access for a month.

Deck of pain made me a beast at calisthenics while i was in the forces. also did the Bear Complex while i was homeless (i took my barbell with me in the car..... yeah im an idiot) When i had no money in my late teens early 20s id buy two loadable dumbbells and just by 5 kg weights and 2.5s to put on them so they could go up to about 30kg each and do giant sets complexes or as fast as i can versions of bodybuilding mag workouts : not ideal or the most effective but I built a fair bit of strength and muscle and honestly quite a fun way of training.
