I've reasearched years and years, to no avail, looked it up, asked, no one knew the answer of how to entry and get the underhook. 99% of grappling videos teach the underhook, and none introduce the entry to it, so I grinded and wasted many rounds trying to figure out how to enter inside and get the underhook. NOW I KNOW HOW. Thank you Breza, I mean it. One more demand: how to entry and get the standing body lock bear hug. No video available, except you tell us to shoot a single, then up higher and bear hug ? Ok cool. Any other option to steal a bear hug spot. The reason I ask abut underhooks and bear hugs, is that they both give me a huge edge over jiujitsu guys for years, but since upperbelts deny me the entries, I have to be smarter.
@josephbreza-grappling94593 ай бұрын
Thank you! This is how I learned it from my collegiate wrestling coach Andy Seras, who was a Greco Olympian and Head coach of the Greco Olympic team. You can go right to it off this bodylock! I cover it on the instructional. You already have inside position.

I always try to wrestle in my rolls, but since we don’t drill wrestling a whole lot when it comes to doing it I feel like there’s so many things to try and think about and remember I usually just end up waiting til they shoot and defend it. These videos are great but it’s just so hard to remember stuff during a live roll haha. Feel like they only way to learn would be join a wrestling school to really get lots of reps of it, which I don’t have time for 😂
@josephbreza-grappling94593 ай бұрын
Put yourself in those positions and get reps in. Winning a round isn’t as important as working on something within that to round. On the instructional, I teach how to clear your hands from wrist control so you can wrestle out of there

Very good tips. The only thing I would say is be careful of putting your head up in jujitsu. That will get you choked a lot which isn't a risk in wrestling.
@JordanTeachesJiujitsu3 ай бұрын
Actually the opposite depending on position 🙂. Rnc for example definitely head down. But for guillotines head up is better. The guillotiner wants your chin to your chest and you gotta stop that.

I see the concepts working, I’m just a little confused. When your opponent has an inside position, you don’t press forward. However, when you have an inside position, you don’t push forward either? When do you push forward then?
@JordanTeachesJiujitsu3 ай бұрын
@@FlairShadows when you have inside position, pushing them forward is less risky and will often lead to them pushing back (which is what you want)
@FlairShadows3 ай бұрын
Ah. Okay. So you want your opponent to push while you have inside position. I can see that working with the fireman’s carry. And I can see how pushing is more risky with the single leg position. Thanks for the quick response!
