Ahh, yes, ground hogs. Nature’s original reactive target. I cut my teeth on precision rifles about 25 years ago hunting ground hogs on dairy farms in VA with a Remington 700 Sendero VFSS in .308 with a Leupold 3-9 and a Harris bipod. Still, I can’t help but think that there may be some disappointment when young Bubba comes of age and realizes that there is no rifle like Dad’s rifle.
