Hello👋 Oh my word!! I had those same pants 👖 (right down to the style/pattern/& colour!) in 1967!!!! I'm 70 now and still remember how much I loved them. I love this layout -- so open and welcoming. I also love her bedding, which just gives such a beautiful homey feel to the place. She also manages to have a lot of storage without having so many overhead cupboards, which makes the place much less claustrophobic.

If you want to tighten up the cargo net, just put a bungee cord across, or use string sewn through it. That will keep it from bowing down.

It’s awesome how a lot of the small air fryers are also ovens and they have different sizes. Just got an air fryer at home and now that I know it’s easy to use it as an oven too I rarely ever use the house oven ☺️

I don't know if she will see this: I lived on a sail boat for years and I used an Omnia 'oven. You need to do a little bit of adapting but when you get how to use it, it's more efficient, faster than a regular oven. You just have to be resilient and creative.

As a rockaholic and animal lover, your van would suit me (but not my OH) very well. So good to see windows and lots seating. I'd add a small oven and flip up worktop. One issue I have is the cooktop being set too far back on worktop. It's a fire hazard, so please be careful.

**** There are really nice toaster ovens that are also convection ovens. they are small and just enough room to fit a regular size cookie sheet. I have one and can't live without it. I live in a house but don't use my regular stove oven as it seems a waste when there is only me that I am cooking for. why heat up a giant oven to roast a small pan of veggies or whatever.. Mine is black & decker toaster/convection oven and I love it!! You can pull it out when you want use is and put it back in the cabinet when not in use. convection means it has a fan to blow the heat evenly so food cooks evenly.. like in professional kitchens. :) cute van btw :)

I am interested in the front seat modification and like the concept but did not follow the "just hack-sawed off" part completely. Can you switch it around, slide/latch it, and actually have it fully usable by a human passenger (with a seat-belt) if desired? Does it still ratchet up & down and can it slide fore and aft so it can lie flatter if desired? Also, does the headrest as you are showing it interfere with the road vision of the front right corner, especially while parking or turning tight corners or negotiating narrow road/construction lanes?

i understand your desire for travel and experiences. the only thing that always gets my attention when listening to people like you is your approach to working. i don't know your whole situation but in this video you said you work every few months to travel for the next few months. i really hope you are looking forward to and planning for the future. van life is an inexpensive way to live but you won't be able to live the life forever. unfortunately we all get old. take it from a person who just retired, social security doesn't pay crap.
