That rust over the windshield makes me nervous and therefore will be one of the first fixes after I get it running and driving

As I build my 66 c10, I have come to realize buying already built may be cheaper. Since it’s my dad’s old truck I won’t stop until it’s finished, but Barrett Jackson had some nice ones. I’m doing ls swap, ar5 trans, and brakes. Even though the truck is from the southwest there is rust like you have just less of it. Keep the ideas coming.

I Fabbed all the headliner metal before realizing the 64-66 inner headliner repair panel is the same until just before the visors where the windshield is flat on the newer versions. Luckily everything is available other than the main A and B pillar repair panels. I'm just about finished fabbing all the A pillar metal... Seeing what it will take for this truck will be interesting.

I have some concerns about the strength of the existing material over the windshield and how it’ll take to welding. It’s going to get intereating

Absolutely, front drums to disk while you’re at it. I have that kit I’ll be doing to this truck in the coming weeks
