I was afraid to do the carbs on my 1973 Johnson 50 hp. After watching this, my carb kits are on the way. Thank you for a truly pro video.

“Just because it’s new, doesn’t mean it’s perfect. Just like a girlfriend.” This is good old-fashioned experience for all aspects of life. Love it

Such an excellent tutorial. I am having serious running issues with my Johnson 70 vro at the moment and am convinced it is a fuel/carb issue. After searching for information, i came across your video and will be putting it into practice tomorrow. Thank you

Great Video. You are very meticulous with the way you assembled these carbs. The key to doing anything like this is not to rush and keep it CLEAN. Thank you. Ill be doing mine soon.

Wanted to say THANKS for posting this. You saved me time and money, by showing me how to do this job myself! My motor is back to running smooth!

Thank you so much for the video. This is the only one I've seen on youtube that shows, 'how to remove the linkage from the carbs'. I don't have the 'same' motor but it was close enough for me to remove and rebuild my carbs myself. Thanks again :)

very good tutorial on the carbs, especially being the plastic topped on the later engines.

Thank you for your patient explanations of the carbs. This might seem simple to you, but to me, your advice and experience is priceless. I'm new to outboards in general and my brother has just bought a Johnson 60 hp motor. He doesn't have the time to maintain the motor, so your advice is invaluable to me because he asked me to look at the motor and I have the time , but no knowledge of any motors and at 69 yo we don't have much time to learn new stuff lol. You have given me the confidence to follow your instructions and hope that it's successful in it's outcome. Thanks for your instructions.
