60 mail order chicks - Buff Orpingtons!

This time we went with Buff Orpingtons. We have 60 here to brood out, all female (hopefully).

Good for you guys! 100 layers, man that's a lot of eggs! I only have 19 and I'm having trouble finding customers, hopefully not for long though. Good luck with those babies!!!

What do you think of Buff Orpingtons? I hear they are extremely tame but also broody.

How many do you think I would loose if I got 30 of them?

+Ezra Pietras Hard to say. Last year I got 34 and didn't lose a single one (White Rock & Barred Rock). Out of these 62 Orpingtons, I lost 12. I did not get them vaccinated.
