I love the fact that there is a very small chance that someone in the world is playing minecraft on the same seed, exploring the same terrain and they get the same structure loot and you don't even know about that

Reviewing random seeds actually made for quite a good video. It's given me some insight into what other other people like and don't like about seeds. Now I've got a better idea of what the ultimate toycat survival world seed might look like.

Funny to watch how different my opinions are from Toycats. There is this beautiful landscape that instantly inspires me to build something nice, and he is like "Nah, what do I get from that, 1/10" But then there is the most boring seed ever and hes like "Wow, no rain here, and there is a lava-pit, 8/10" xD

The biggest problem I find with seed 13, huge desert and mesa, is the absolute void of trees. It would take the better part of your first day just to get to wood but some good loot from the desert temple chests could really balance that problem out.

@MystianPrincess
@MystianPrincess Жыл бұрын
I checked out that seed, it has an ocean monument when go left of the land and head out to sea from the beaches. There's a town (no blacksmith though, you'll have to be your own but does have it's own potion crafting station) in land pass the sand mountain on the right of the land from spawn and the lava pit. Pass the village, you'll find a cave with amethyst in it. You land inside where there's a hole and water falling into it, to the right of the hole you'll see a single gold ore next to another smaller hole and to the right of that you'll break the white coloured block to find amethyst. All this is the initial start of the land. But there is a variety of biomes within 1000 blocks from including a couple of caves hiding lush caves with glow berries and 2 more towns, 1 ruin portal, a mountain with 2 exposed emerald and couple more lava pits also within 1000 blocks from spawn. Though the 2 other towns are the furthest and you can see snow biome pass 1000 blocks away but I didn't want to go pass 1000 blocks away.
@MystianPrincess
@MystianPrincess Жыл бұрын
If you want to explore the ocean, I did find a couple of small castle ruins that had chests buried inside and one chest had a treasure map and did find the treasure which had heart of the sea and other stuff. I did also find the caves abundant with ores of all kinds exposed on the walls including gold and diamonds, it's just a matter of how deep you're willing explore. With the amount of redstone available, it's an Minecraft engineers dream. There's also slimes that spawn in the caves too. I find it's really a land for exploring with lots of great flat locations to build and resources for engineering. Sucks there's no nearby blacksmith though.

Any tips in finding a good starter seed? I'm playing on Java solo and Bedrock with my daughter. I'm still working towards beating the game for the first time and ended up in a tiaga for the seed I decided to try. I didn't seed hunt, I just said 'wjatever this is, I'm gonna do it'. But I definitely feel like I made a wrong choice and want to find another seed to do my 'i finally beat the game' seed. Still learning a lot bc just started playing about 3 months ago really. Anywho, tips for finding a good starter seed would be a great help for me, I'd be overjoyed with a comment response to this, no need to make a video. Welcome anyone's comments about it, really appreciate your perspective on the game ToyCat. Thanks for making interesting content
@chiragkumar6158

First of all, for finding the perfect seed, I would recommend thinking about what you're building and then think of which biome would best compliment your plans. But since it's about completing the game, I'd assume that the nether might be the more difficult part with the amount of experience that you have. To combat that I'd suggest a seed where there is an over world village where you can live and farm for food, which leads to a nether with a close nether fortress in order to get blaze rods, and somewhat close warped forests so that you can get ender pearls as well from endermen that spawn down there. As for how to find one like that, or something else similar to it, Toycat's old seed sunday videos (look out to make sure they are for 1.19) have a lot of good, easy-to-beat type seeds. Secondly, on the topic of beating the game, if you spend a lot of time in any world. Eventually you are bound to get enough items and gear that the dragon fight will be easy as a breeze. Good luck! And I hope you have a great time (^^)

I think toycat is judging these seeds from a “beating the game quick” view, instead of a long term world where you might want a nice spot for your base. If that’s what he’s focused on though I won’t judge him.

Seed 6 is really nice. I think your rating is good in a very general/objective sense, but it's 8/10 for me. Seed 11 is really nice too. 7/10 Very nice forest valleys IMO. Just needs some paths carved out and a large structure built I thought I'd disagree with you on seed 13, but I agree. 8/10 It's the size of desert I was looking for one time. I'd just fill in the water with sand Seed 28 is 9/10 for me. The island would be bad if it didn't have a lot of trees, but you can easily make a boat to the cavern where you can make a cool base Seed 34 has appealing terrain. The slightest bit of terraforming and some interesting builds, something adventure map style, it would make it look really good 7/10

Dang I hate savannahs xD I can deal with deserts for a bit as long as theres a forest nearby and a village. I loveeee taigas!! Best grass color hands down, any differing opinions is wrong and invalid. Definitely a biome I love to work with cause deepslate is such a lovely block. Its so easy to change taigas to become something really alive, its slightly roofed and thick but not to the point its annoying to go through (cough can you guess if I like dark oak or not). Mountains are great too, I like to have them flat at the top or has a big "hole" in it. Im not a big fan of slanted or sharp mountains though, I feel like thats harder to work with. Also /ot but in a server i'm in im actually living in a forested highlands (The server uses terralith, love that datapack/mod). I got a really big area beside temparate highlands, a big dry savannah esque biome and highlands (Gosh it looks so good, obsessed with the stone like pathing) with a small jungle nearby but not really visible from my area :)) Ive finished my iron farm and planning to make a small villager hall

Funny thing, I think spawning in a basalt or the crimson forests are one of the worts nether biomes. Crimsons forests early game is a NIGHTMARE considering the spawn rates, Basalts are so dangerous with those magma cubes trying to shove you in lava and holes. I love warped, I think its a great block (again with deepslate), and soulsand valleies are slightly worse but the spawn rates are pretty low, with only annoying skeletons around. The flatter nether biomes are just an eh for me, idk
