Gain new perspective as you travel around your mat during this Mandala Flow Yoga Class. Begin in seated meditation, cultivating deep breath awareness through ujjayi pranayama. Warm up your spine with twists and side bends, extending and stretching the hands and wrists. Move into toe pose for a deep stretch for the toes, feet and ankles. Notice the sounds of howler monkeys in the background, as you begin your practice!
Continue to extended the spine and compress the hips in child's pose, before opening the chest and stretching the soldiers in thread the needle. Create heat right away in high plank pose and cross-legged plank rocks. More core engaging postures are presented later in class, like boat and upward angle. Engage the back side of the body in cobra, before you make your way to Down Dog. Release low back and hip tension in Malasana, preparing for standing movements like crescent lunge, revolved crescent lunge, chair with variations, before balancing in staff, half moon and revolved half moon, standing pigeon and more. Throughout the entire length of class, you will be moving in all different directions, having a new experience in each subsequent posture.
Interesting transitions include warrior one to humble warrior, wild thing to fallen triangle to seated splits, skandasana to lunge and more. Slow down with gate, modified side plank, queen's gate, reclined twist, before finishing your practice in Savasana. This class offers a blend of movement, balance, and relaxation, in a creative framework, leaving you refreshed and centered.

Oh that was so much fun! I love your mandala flows, and the transitions were so creative. Brilliant yoga class and challenging ... I don't normally the hour classes a lot of the time because I also workout with weights and walk but today I had some extra time and did it later in the day :)

I really liked this flow but I got confused sometimes, with which leg and side I was working on the skandasana and fallen triangle. Apart from that I enjoyed this practice a lot and got a great start on my day . Thank you so much Erin🙏🏻❤️

Thank you Erin, for such a beautiful creative flow! I recorded myself doing this class and loved the variety of shapes I've been into. Also, I always try and join you outdoors -eventhough the flys and several insects annoy me throoughout the class- I love it so much when the birds around me try to speak with the birds in your videos. It's one of my joyful moments in the morning imagining how the birds connect with each other from the opposite hemispheres :)

I LOVE your yoga..I've only been doing it for about 6 months and I travel alot for work so I can't do it everyday but I'm trying to get better..I think i am but sometimes end up facing the wrong way...is that common at first? Also, is there anything I can do to breathe more deeply, I take two breaths to your one most of the time😅?! Thankyou for your gorgeous practises
