60 Tips For Grassroots Football Coaches- Part 1

TIP 1 - Use dodgeball and tag games to teach movement and help players develop physically.
TIP 2 - Don’t just coach players weaknesses, turn their strengths into super strengths as well.
TIP 3 - Include goalkeepers in the main parts of your practice to help them improve technically.
TIP 4 - Let players come up with free kicks and corner routines.
TIP 5 - Do your team talks in front of the parents.
TIP 6 - Sometimes, just step back and watch.

What age groups do you consider as being 'younger players'?

I would say this is primary school aged children, once they reach teenage years you can start to look for more fun ways to build strength as part of your programmes.
