Great video. I own an old English white 420g. A 68 plate car. Beautiful motor car and so smooth to drive.

Thanks Don , I have a Rover P5B and I think that is big but next to a MK10 its not big at all ! . Also a X300 which is nice to see it mentioned in the same DNA as a Mk10 .

Hi Paul, thanks for your comments your Rover is a model that must say is a car that has so much going for it …just a lovely car. I had a 1995 X300 3.2 ltr for many years, my opinion is that it was probably the best and by far the most reliable XJ sedan Jaguar ever produced on so many fronts. Safe Jaguar travels to you. Cheers Don

Sadly in the US there is very little appreciation and there for resale value of these cars. Yes I own a 1965 Mk X which unfortunately is stored in the barn. Contemplating restoration cost for this beautiful automobile is extensive, considering the wood refinish, interior leather, and engine restoration. I restored an E type 30 years ago and know the labor involved. Don't know if I will dedicate the funds considering it's unwanted status here. Sad. Terrific video.

Hi Ron Thanks for your comments, I agree they are a great car and somewhat undervalued for a car that’s got so much going for it. Restoration on a Mk10 these days can set you back anywhere from 20-30k depending on the level of restoration. I have restored two Mk10, s over the years and the like most collectable cars they remain a work in progress….

@@donsmoto-ozrides Don, I did a restoration on my 1969 XK-E and it was a handful, now multiply by 2 for a Mark10. ha. ha.
