Hey battery idea. Get a cart to tow behind the bike with a Telsa battery in it. Of course, you'd have to step the voltage now, but you can do it Mr Tenacity ... lol
@papablueshirt2 ай бұрын
I have thought about it. : ) The also have a one wheel trailer that I thought I could mount batteries on kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZi7qJiwYqiXq6Msi=Bw8mlhAdiuOP9W3B I told my wife I will no longer have a bike, I will have a battery with wheels LOL

No chance of me moving to LA, I was an auto delivery driver in the 80's in CA. Not a place I want to be now. I like the slower paced life ; )

Do you have music in your ears when you ride? I gotta have my music. You look very comfy now on that bike. Like sitting in an office chair.
@papablueshirt2 ай бұрын
If you look towards the left handgrip, I have a round speaker there. So I can listen to music the whole time. Yes, the handlebar extension really made the ride more comfortable now. : )

fun going along with you - I enjoy the ride and your stories. :) as for the 2nd battery (?) a good thing to have maybe for balance - perhaps on a front rack? [just a notion] a little weight on the front "might" help balance? for sure open up your dismount area or a water bottle (?) the big new ebike you have is something else. :o I like the ability to switch off the front drive [might not be needed on the roads] that H8 holds my interest, but not a step thru. :( I gotta remember to be realistic as for me the ST is a lot nicer to get on n off after I ride awhile I stiffen up. then I appreciate the ease on the step thru. other wise Id get that H8 :)
@papablueshirt2 ай бұрын
Yeah, I wish they had a step thru as I probably need one as well. However, I ride them like a horse. I start with my left foot on the pedal and swing over like riding a horse. After over 20k miles it is second nature now. I just have to be careful when I stop as my horse likes to fall over if standing still ; ) The battery on the top bar, is very well balanced. However, I added something [upcoming video] And things changed a little bit. Maybe a front rack would help as you suggest. I will have to think about this and investigate ; ) I am glad you like the videos, thank you so much for watching.

@@papablueshirt yup Ive never had a front rack on an ebike but might be an idea? a little weight over the front might help that motor bite the ground a little better [just a thought] they ought to send you a front rack to test that out :)

What brand of battery cell's do you use.you get a lot of miles from two batteries.i have a 360 Watt motor and a 36 volt 10 ah battery I get about 15 miles.
@papablueshirt2 ай бұрын
I think they are Panasonic. I had the same issue with my Ecotric. I did ride over 10k miles on it, but I went through 4 batteries doing it. 36v is very hard on batteries for some reason. If you want more miles, you will probably need to upgrade to a bike with at least 48 volts as they handle it better. My Philodo H8 has over 14k miles on it and I am still using the battery on it and when I need extra juice I use that same battery on my Jumbo : )

Aloha, PBS... Surfing around YT videos last week & came across Jerry Rig Everything. His company...Not A Wheelchair...specializes in building off-road wheelchairs for mobility handicapped riders. The "cherry atop the cake" is that his vehicles run $4k...whereas "standard" electric scooters/wheelchairs are >$15k. Checkout his YT page!... Aloha from Hawaii
