Havnt posted in a while..... guessing that stock motor finally went. Time to build it and put the G35-1050 on it. Thats my next move for mine. Got the G30-770 on it now. Makes 640 whp. Built motor, ported head upgraded valve train, AP brakes, Cf everything weighs 3100 lbs and still have stock seats lol. But the jump to the 1050 is another $11k. Bigger injectors, 12 mm studs, fuel, etc.....

Hey Kyle, I got a 19' GTI and turning to you for inspiration. You're the only DSG MQB i've seen that is considerably fast compared to others in the platform. Everyone else making a statement is running a Manual Trans, I would assume it comes down to the longer gearing, but your car seems really dialed in. Is there any suggestion or tips you might give for us DSG boys?

How do you manipulate your DSG when racing? Do you downshift to 2nd then back to 3rd? Or are you actually able to brake boost without engaging Launch mode on DSG?

Good question. So I use S + M on gear selector. So I use 3rd for 40’s and 50’s, then 4th for 60’s for now.. We aren’t exactly sure why it enables LC while on partial throttle brake boosting, it does spool the turbo great for a quick line up. It doesn’t affect the car at all, and older setups have had no LC enabled when brake boosting.

@@SportyMk7 I read, I need to fully disengage the throttle. So take my foot completely off, Apply some brake then give it throttle again. And it should allow for proper brake boost. I feel this is how I've always done it to no success but some people say if the car registers even a 5% throttle it won't allow you to boost so take foot completely off throttle. I will test this out again on my Relief days.

At what rpm do you see full boost with the Tpc770 and at what rpm do you start seeing boost? Why did you go with that turbo instead of say vortex xl? Nice!

Full tilt at 5500, No EQT car has ever impressed me, either tune or a car part from them. They have a big name like APR and that’s that.
