A Tasmanian woman woke to find Neil, a tagged and well-known southern elephant seal, in her front yard, stopping her from going to work.
Amber Harris says her office was understanding and were having "a bit of a laugh" about it.
Ms Harris says she's been told it may be hard to move Neil as he comes onto land for three to four weeks at a time to hibernate, but he was later spotted making his way to the beach.
