Came here for the shimmer… fell in love with everything else. This thing sounds amazing with tons of different settings

I use the strymon nightsky which I love! But because of my latest pedalboard! It’s size isn’t helping :( so I needed to downsize!! But it has to be a reverb with experimental options :) I just won a Darkworld on eBay :)

Dig your (now dated) review. Like your dive into the dip switches. Just got this pedal. I’m really digging the options so far for my pedal steel. Going to use it functionally for gigs as a low mix plate sustain to supplement spring from amp. I like function and potential on my small board. Keep up the good work.

Weird, the spring setting sounds more drippy than any other demo I've seen. Maybe it's because you're actually playing surf music?

Love your videos. I'm curious, you ever thought of doing some cool surf rock music lessons?

So glad that they released this before NAMM otherwise it would be annoying only seeing those not very good prequel demos with them shouting over the noise so glad👏👏

yeah, namm videos aren't typically very helpful.

I've never owned a Chase Bliss pedal, but I just ordered this one. It does so much and my Strymon Flint is a little stale for me.

chase might not be the best at everything but they are in top 3 everytime and thats good enough for me ive been on a crazy exspensive pedal journey for a longtime at lest 3 years and owned the brothers and the wombtone the brothers could hold its own with any drive or od pedal or fuzz although the fuzz is more dist its all good tones the wombtone wasnt my favorite but very usable and good i am putting together my usable gig board so my main board for live shows and im going all chasebliss. again other pedals are better at certain things but chase is great across the board actually the best across the board and for functionality! -tone!-size!-price-expression out!- and wildcard! in that order-they seem to come out the winner of all things considered im going brothers-warped vynle- spectre-condor- t.recall-darkworld-! that should do it ! 60 CYLE HUM IS ONE OF MY NEW TOP 5 DEMO GUYS very honest in my opinion or maybe our music tastes are similar anyhow thanks for the demos they certainly help me out i really like the kaibur fuzzdemo . later bud.

So how does this compare to the source audio ventris for the spring reverb?
@60CycleHumcast5 жыл бұрын
it doesn't, totally different pedal concepts

60 Cycle Hum okay so if I am just wanting a pedal to simulate my reverb in my hot rod deluxe iii which should I get?
@60CycleHumcast5 жыл бұрын
Adam Litchfield for a more traditional spring sound the Ventris is the way to go. There is a lot of experimental options you wouldn’t use on the dark world. But if you are lookin to get weird the dark world is great.

60 Cycle Hum thanks. I am looking for primary spring reverb. But I would like to be able to have hall and plate and some more ambient sounding reverbs
