I find the wet weather performance to be the opposite on wet bitumen. I think they are fantastic. 1000 times better than the BFG at s I ran for ten years. Definitely buying them again

They are a great tire, it’s strange how much better my last set of Falken tires were in the rain vs these new ones. I’ll likely get another set in a different size to test it out

38K on AT3W with 9/32 left! On 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 w/ 5.3 engine. In idaho best tires i've ever owned put the AT4W on my Duramax just recently. The best snow tire I've ever owned.

I just made another video update on mine! At 90k miles and counting… time to replace them of course but the tread depth is still really deep!
Just came across this video and I have to say you’re the first one I’ve heard complain about the wet road performance. All the other sites, and I’ve watched dozens, rave about the wet performance. In fact, that is the highlight of the tire’s review. What year did you buy these? Wondering if they changed the rubber compound.

I believe they did change the compound. I had a set of these a few years ago and they were fantastic in the rain, these new ones…not so much. I bought these tires 2 years ago, I would have to check the tire for production date though

Well, I’ll find out. I’ve got two the exact same size LT275/70R18 being delivered tomorrow. I was hedging what tires to get and when a guy nearby sold his truck and he had two of the A/T3W brand new he didn’t need. Stickers still on them. Sold me both for $300. That made my mind up for me. Ordered the other two yesterday. Hoping they’re as good as advertised.

I had same size on my Silverado 1500, got over 65k out of them. They were toast though and probably should have changed sooner so about 60k seems about right. Mine were great in the rain/wet, offroad and towing. Just wenr to the Rubitrec in same size to see how they do. I'm bummed that I bought them 2 weeks ago and Falken dropped the AT4W right after.

Those at4w tires came out of nowhere! I had no idea they were working on updating them

I have a question and a comment. Curious to know what were the stock tires on that vehicle and how did those tires do in the wet compared to the Wildpeaks? Comment is that I heard Falken changed the tire compound back in late 2020 or early 2021 that had a negative effect on performance with the AT3W’s. Another comment. Funny how one of the “w” is for “wet” performance and you’re not the only one complaining about poor wet performance.

The stock tires were the Bridgestone all terrain tires that GM has on many of their trucks. They worked great in wet weather, but I needed something more resilient for work and camping trips
