After seeing TB turned 96 ... I had to track this interview down and watch again. One of my two favorite Anderson Cooper interviews. So ...educating, watching the family loyalty, brutally honest yet hopeful comments mixed with music nostalgia. The Thomas Mangelsen interview was my other top Anderson interview! Thank you to all.

It's amazing that music can "overcome" Tony's dementia and totally energize him.

Music was the last thing that Glen Campbell remembered as well. That is why scientists are studying the phenomena. How do these performers remember all the words to their songs - and in Glen Campbell's case, all the keys on his guitar? It's really quite something. Music actually is something all Alzheimer's patients remember - and can literally bring them out of a fog. Load up an i-pod with the music that person loved...and have them listen to it...and it just connects with something in the brain.
