From Sadie the cleaning lady, to just cleaned-out and sad, to the voice that climbed back to the top of the charts. A lot of us have grown up with John Farnham and shared with him the peaks and hollows of an extraordinary career, huge in the sixties and seventies, almost broke in the early 80's, now in the 90's as John Farnham, he's a sort of elder statesman of song. He and manager Glenn Wheatley have been up and down more times than the warble in the famous Farnham voice.
