#61 New Dunlop Tires for my 2021 Goldwing Tour

First tire change on my 2021 Goldwing Tour. I removed the Bridgestone tires and had Dunlop tires installed. This video shows the before and after pictures of the tires. If you like the video please subscribe. Thanks. Larry.

Changed my stock tires at just under 18k km. Installed Elite 4’s. Quite happy with them.

They are a great tire. I love my Dunlop slippers. The bike runs smooth and they feel secure under the bike. There is over 2k, km on them since they were installed and zero issues. Thanks for watching. Ride Safe.

Hi Amer. thanks for dropping in and spending some time supporting my channel. I was out today and rode for about three hours. So far the Dunlop tires are solid with no issues. We will see how they are as they wear in. It's funny, I had Dunlap stuck in my head, and never even considered Michelin. If you decide to use them, please let us know on a video. The walk around will be something I will do more often but mostly when I have something cool like a "CUP" to show. lol. The reason I don't do it more often is because, that is already a signature move of "G BeWinginIt". He has a great channel and I try not to copy, but I do like the idea. Goldstrike have great products and I may add a thing or two as time goes on. I need a full plan before I start adding accessories. Everything must flow. @@goldwingmoments Make no mistake. Love Gbe, and yes he did coin the “jump-off” move. I constantly reminded him of the cool factor because I loved seeing his well accessorized Wing. But G is now the BMW GSA jump-off man. Someone has got to represent. That be you my man. You’re not claiming the Gbe move. You’re merely honoring it. In fact. You might even add some humor and say, “in honor of our brother GbeWinginit, this move is for you. 😂 Then at the beginning, middle or end of your video show that bad boy off. Let your creativity flow Larry. 🤔 At the end of the day, there’s not much on these channels or in life that hasn’t been duplicated or plagiarized. It’s a compliment if used in your way. How do you get that many miles out of a tire? My factory Bridgestone are toast at 9,000 miles.

Good evening and thanks for visiting and joining the chat. I do get great mileage out of my tires. I run the front at 36 psi and rear at 41 psi. I am older, ride alone and don't ride the bike hard. Cement highways are tough on tires so I avoid them as much as possible. I also avoid city riding and the country roads are mostly straight with slight curves. I search out the curvy lakeshore roads only to make videos. My 2021 Goldwing is better on tires than my last 2017. I only reached 11k miles per set of tires on that bike. Wish I had more information that could help but that's it. Ride Safe.

Dont feel bad my 2022 Tour DCT is at 7500 miles and the OEM Dunlop D423 are just about toast. I don't think I can make it to 8000 miles I will be on slicks, even here in Florida with no rain. However I do ride two up with the wife over 50% of the time. I was going to switch to the Bridgestones....lol I'm online researching for info.

That is an original cup holder for sure!!! Are you doing 1:1 for tires? I thought most on big bikes are getting two rears to one front tire. I have never considered wearing in a new set of tires, but you are probably right. I almost considered going "darkside" with my Victory Vision, but I sold it before I had to make that decision. I can't wait to see what this season holds for you with the trips you are mentioning there Larry. Any teasers on what or where you plan to travel??

Good day to you. Thanks for taking time away from your boat project to visit and join the chat. You are correct about the tires. I could have replaced my front tire and waited until next year to install the rear but decided to replace both because I was changing brans. Not sure about the tire compounds so I like to go with a matching set. OCD could also come into play. lol. Guess, if I went darkside, it would be cheaper and I would have to purchase less tires. I always worry about insurance if something bad were to happen. Time to get out and spin the wheels. Have an awesome weekend my friend. PS: teaser = East..

@@codraven57 , guess I will just have to share some info with you. lol. Like I say, I am planning, but everything not worked out yet. I am looking at a couple of routes to St. John's, NL. I will be staying in Canada and I am looking at the Labrador Highway. Not sure if it is paved all the way. We will have some answers soon, I hope. I may put out a video with the planned trip once it is confirmed. That's about all I have for now. Don't want to make this comment to long because you need to get back to work on your boat. I just got back from my second east coast ride and the bike ran like a champ. No issues. Picked up a nail in my new rear Dunlop tire. That sucked but life goes on.
