Also, you never did kick that dogfish to see if it was alive because they too are like gar and pop the top of water for air. Just some thoughts that don't make any sense .

You see the thing about video editing that you obviously haven’t wrapped your mind around is this, you don’t have to include everything you film in the final cut. 4:22 that would have made my day saving a fish. So sad when people kill fish for no reason. I hike a lot and it makes me mad when they leave dog poop in bags on the trail or destroy. Let other enjoy

You do a great job with the B roll stuff. Great shots, not overly done or long. Kudos.

That gar reminds me of when I used to have a pet snakehead and it jumped out the tank clearly after one of the bait fish I put in and had fell on the floor. I couldn’t find him for a day and a half so looked in and around the tank and found him behind the tank and I thought he was gone until I picked him up and he shook so I got him in the water and washed the dust of him and he survived as they can breath air aswell

I had the same thing happen to a pet snail that kept leaving tank to go dry up in my clean laundry basket! It lived dozens on times from me putting it back in the tank but eventually it took it's last trip to the laundry basket and never rehydrated and was dead dead. Really cool snail. He ate out of my hands... His name was Gary and I had him for so long.

@@pikenation9841 since I've seen just how intelligent they r, and how special of a bond you can make with a snail that's aquatic and smaller than a golf ball now I REALLY want a giant African land snail. I'm in Florida so it's near impossible to get one shipped here. I want one so so so bad! They get massive... I can only imagine how great of pet they make. I want a few kinds of jumping spiders, and I want a trapdoor spider, and I want some kind of large species of tarantulas that are communal and can live in groups in the same habitat and they don't eat each other. I want slings! Love baby tarantulas! I wish I could catch a jumping spider. I should be able to being in Florida but it's not so easy.

Thanks for saving that Gar. Dad and I fish a lot and always return them to the water. For me it is more about spending time with him, we are only here for so long, and I want to be able to remember when he is gone.

Thank you, for so generously allowing that garfish to live, what's more is you helped the little guy with getting some of that land crud off him/her. Not that it's any big deal but, I'm going to subscribe, leave a 'thumbs up' and a tap on the bell, I'd like to see more of your fishing stories. Thanks for sharing.
