Is it possible to insert a KZbin video on the share screen and how would I do it? Thank you! Could you go more in depth on hoe to insert documents, a painting for a discussion, etc. I use Zoom on an early version of IPad . Would it be easier on a new model of an IPad. Thank you so very much!

Hi Sharon - unfortunately I do not use the iPad anywhere near as much as I do my PC. This Zoom help article should have the information you need. It mentions that "You can share your entire screen on an iOS device running iOS 11 or higher." There are also some first-time setup steps you need to do in your iPad's settings to enable screen sharing. So you should be able to share KZbin videos, documents etc., unless your iPad is old/not updated and running an earlier version of the operating system: support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115005890803-iOS-Screen-Sharing

Hi! Thank you for this video! I used my iPad for the first time in a Zoom meeting. I didn't want to interrupt the presenter, but the PowerPoint presentation he was sharing disappeared when I double clicked on his picture because his picture was so small. I didn't know how to get back to the presentation. I was trying to swipe and I was looking at the bottom for it, but nothing worked. What do I have to do next time to locate the presentation? Thank you!

Hi Irene - hmm, I'm not sure what to tell you there - as shown around 2:00 in this video, when I tapped on Mr. Moose's picture, it made him big but the powerpoint is still a thumbnail in the lower right. If I click the minus sign to collapse the thumbnails (2:21), then I have to hit the little blue video camera button in the bottom to get them back - is that button there? This video is almost a year old now, so I'm also not sure if there have been any updates to the iOS app that would change this.

HI I love your video and I was wondering on an iPad with zoom installed, can you then add chat to the left while you are watching everyone or the speaker? Is that possible on a pc and if it is then how do I do that on a pc? I was also wondering if I wanted multiple windows open while watching zoom how do I do it? And lastly how do I save the page I opened in chrome on my iPad so that without internet or with internet, next time I can view it. Sorry for all the questions but I am learning how to use the iPad now.

Hi Raquella - doing my best to answer your questions in order: 1) No, I don't think you can have chat on the side on an iPad 2) Yes, it's possible on a PC, just click the Chat button at the bottom of the Zoom window 3) I don't think having multiple windows open on an iPad is possible, but I am not a big iPad user (this is my only iPad tutorial) 4) I would google "how to bookmark a page in chrome in iPad" and that should show you how

This is probably a dumb question but given that the camera is at the top of portrait view but certainly those of us with the Magic Keyboard are always in landscape, any thoughts about how to avoid always looking like your looking away from the person you are talking to?

Hi Andrea - unfortunately I don't use the iPad app very much so I'm not as familiar with all the features. I haven't tried screen sharing on an iPad, but their help article about it is here: support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115005890803-iOS-Screen-Sharing. It looks like on iOS there are some setup steps you need to do first to enable the screen option.

I’m concerned that in landscape the camera is off to the side and so the host isn’t making eye contact with other participants. Not sure how to get around this. Also if you stop sharing your whiteboard and go to re share it you must start over since that white board is gone.

Not sure if there's anything you can do about unless the host makes a conscious effort to look at the camera instead of the screen. For sharing, I know some prefer third party apps that you can draw/write in and share screen, instead of the built in whiteboard. I have a windows 2-in-1 laptop and draw in Powerpoint, but I believe the iPad people I know use something called Notability. Hi - I don't think this feature is available on older iPads - from this site: www.elitedaily.com/p/why-cant-i-get-zoom-backgrounds-heres-what-you-should-check-22642122 "If you're running Zoom on your Apple handheld device, you'll need to be using a iPhone 8 or later, and at least a fifth generation iPad 9.7 or iPad Pro."

Hi Sherry - maybe try rotating your iPad to landscape orientation instead of portrait? I do not use the iPad app much, so otherwise I'm not too sure.
