Thank you very much! For some reason when I share screen from my iPad, the video of me stops. It’ stops for me and I can’t see the video pane of others on the call. On the receiving end, the participants can’t see me. So I can share the screen, it just seems that the functionality of of the participant video (me and others) is lost. Is this a settings issue? It appears to work on your demo. Thank you for any guidance.

You can have your ppt on the icloud , when using zoom select share screen and then select icloud drive. If you follow this then your video will not disappear and others will be able to see your slides along with your video. Hope this helps

Excellent video thanks. When I screen share as you suggest on Zoom on iPad IOS15 I have one problem: When I open PowerPoint presentation, those with whom I'm sharing will see the presentation and hear me but they will not be able to see me. My camera view is turned off for them and instead they see my Zoom Account icon. Neither can I see them! For viewing to be restored, I need to go out of Powerpoint and select Zoom again and then they can see me (and I them). Does it have to be this way using PowerPoint sharing on Zoom Screen Share? I'll be very grateful for any comment/assistance

If your Screen Sharing option is missing from Zoom, this likely means the feature has somehow been disabled within your Zoom user profile. Try following the steps in this article to enable the feature: services.xavier.edu/TDClient/KB/ArticleDet?ID=520 Also note that the option will not show up if you are air playing from your iPad to a TV. Yes you can! If your video camera is turned on in Zoom and you begin sharing your screen, then it should automatically share both your screen and video.

Gordon, here's my problem - I have an iPad Pro 4th generation. When I screenshare on Zoom, my audio is very low for my participants. And yes, I do have "Microphone On" when I screen share. So what am I doing wrong? Also, when I screen share I cannot hear my video's audio on my own device. Sorry you're having such problems with this Zoom feature. It doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong, as those are the basic steps and really only way to share audio in Zoom from an iPad. Zoom does not give you the ability to adjust the audio level coming from your iPad. If you're sharing something like a KZbin video, KZbin provides you with audio controls that you can adjust. You're also able to raise the audio level on your iPad, which should raise or lower the level that YOU hear. Unfortunately, we do not have a video covering this, but I will put it in our queue to hopefully get recorded soon. In the meantime, run through the basic troubleshooting techniques by ensuring your IOS is updated to the newest version and that Zoom is also updated.

My iPad doesn't have the 'screen' option in the share screen dropdown menu. The top item is 'photos'.

Slide it so zoom shows and click on zoom. Then once zoom is selected touch and hold the bottom of the share screen pup up to begin sharing it. You will know you did it right when you see the count down begin. I was touch the top part of that pop up and so failing.

I think has something to do with the Zoom account itself. If I log into Zoom with my personal account, the screen option appears. If I log in with my school account, the option is missing. Same thing on my computer, when logged in on my personal account I can share my iPad, when logged in on my school account there is no option to share the iPad. So frustrating

Agreed, Robyn. It may be a setting in your Zoom account or a setting that your Zoom admin has put in. Dori, are you using a personal Zoom account or is it an account that is associated with a school or business?

When you share your screen, in that same window where you select which screen you want to share, make sure to select "share computer sound." If you've already done that, then I'd suggest checking your Zoom audio settings and ensuring that the audio is coming from your iPad and not from an external microphone. Finally, make sure that your iPad and Zoom application are both up to date. I hope this helps!

If you have KZbin open in a web browser prior to sharing your screen. Then while in the meeting, click share screen and select the option to share that browser AND make sure you select "share computer sound" so that the meeting participants will hear the sound from the video.
