I have to agree. My dad is retired Air Force and I am a former Marine. I still remember as a kid when the first squadron of F 16 hit the base and I got to see them. I grew up around these planes. For my dad's retirement he was given a ride in one while we were in Japan. Still have the VHS tape that recorded the whole ride. I wish I would have pursued flying. I was too lazy and impatient to go the college first..just went straight in and enlisted.

I seems like the pilot wears the F-16, clean bubble canopy no lines, almost the entire aircraft is behind and under you. unlimited view. Like a bird! I imagine it’s still the most fun to fly.

As a kid, I had a poster of the General Dynamics F-16 front view, on the ground, with a center line tank. It was painted, and it looked so badass. This took me back. Good stuff.

I confess I'm an Army brat, but you guys are some badasses. Thank God you have infantry's back. I've been in a single engine puddle-jumper, and made the flight overseas to be with Dad, but you get to be closest to God. Wow!

Awesome. Awesome quality footage. The photography work could be compared to some extend to the best of the best, i.e. Tony Scott who shooted Top Gun. The only thing I would have done slightly different is the paning at take-off, I would have followed the jets a bit further when they pass abeam but I can understand the choice of cutting like you did.. Maybe cut one out of two like you did and follow the other ? This is top work thanks for sharing.

The 65th Aggressor Squadron as an Eagle squadron, got shut down a few years ago. No more Russian camo F-15s at Nellis, unfortunately. But, the 65th just stood back up, this year. Current plan, is to make the next gen Aggressors be F-35s.

The F-16 is highly capable and able to compete with any but the stealth aircraft. But it is strange to think I saw one of the first red/white/blue F-16s over Okinawa in 1974.

Why are so many so out of shape ..not trying to make anyone feel bad here ,that is not my purpose in saying something. I’m just saying that I’m expecting to see a bunch of fit guys and gals when I see our Services doing their job. People at this level of the Army, Navy or Any of our services I would expect to see them also in peak shape. I guarantee your not gonna be pushing 8 g,s for any long or short period of time unless your maintaining peak fitness. I’m just surprised not trying to shame anyone here.
