Great video of your adventure at Hetch Hetchy Reservoir. Great shots of water releasing from the dam into lower Tuolumne River. I believe you were at Tueelala Fall where you chose to turn around to return back to the dam. Wapama Fall is farther up the trail. It is much larger requiring two steel framed bridges to cross the fall. Tueelala Fall flows out of Wapama Creek during seasons of heavy snow melt. Rancheria Fall lies east of Wapama Fall. During heavy snow melt, hikers would be completely drenched while crossing the Wapama Fall bridges. At times, it would not be safe to cross.

Thank you for your comment. I believe you. We were so unlucky to see Wapama. It was so risky to cross the raging water. But Hetch Hetchy is one of the best!
