Why in the HELL is one guy holding the barrel and the other guy is holding the Butt of the gun?

Just more umm, umm, umm. Did he say there was no ammo scare? Ammo for 22s was plentiful. Any 22 caliber fire arm being made is a waste of money. Ammo for 10.00 a box of 50 is out of line! .

Training with this 22lr rifle and a scope setup...Sorry but its a BS. For that money I can buy plenty of reloading components and train with my REAL rifle setup.

tuzbubey its not just ammo cost to consider. Barrel life on your comp rifle, also like they stated its where you can train. If you have 50yds you can do barricade drills etc.

Yeah it’s expensive upfront but anything in the precision realm is. Let’s just say you spend $5k on an identical 22lr trainer (optics and all). Cost in ammo is going to be close to $0.50-$1.00 a round cheaper. Plus $600-$1000 for new barrels every 5k rounds. You really make back the cost difference after the first year. Plus you can train a lot more. Both cost of ammo and available locations. Not many people have 1,200 yard ranges with positional shooting nearby. Way more training options with 22lr plus you can always compete in NRL22 which is rapidly expanding. Not that it should replace training with the full size completely, but if you’re serious it’s a great tool.
