Dan the man, I enjoy your videos. I used to drive back in the late 80's before I went to turning wrenches full time . I like the fact the you show the complete job not just the shiny stuff, I have never lost my love of trucks and your vid when you said freedom was a reason to drive a rig you are spot on. If i was healthy enough i would go back to it. Keep that shiny side up!

Just a thought Dan - try using your Bluetooth mic with your camera, it will "probably" work better outside. If it does work better, you won't have to keep running back and forth to the camera. Thanks for all your GREAT content and your consistent desire to do the best job you can with these videos, proving once again your professionalism, as with your engine bay cleanliness!

Patching our vinyl the instructions always told us to use the rough side of the patch as the contact surface because the glue will bond better than putting it on the smooth side. Your theory is correct.

Hi Dan, if you put that soft foam on your microphone it will stop the wind noise completely. Softer the better . Best videos on KZbin my friend. Dave P.S. Dan, thanks for another great video...As far as the snow storm..It shifted and your thought about taken HWY 80 to 35W, would be a huge mistake, you'll run smack dab in it...Best bet would be interstate 94 through WI, then into St.Paul MN..As it looks right now, the southern part of the Twin Cities (Mpls & St.Paul) are the only parts of the cities that will get the brunt, the rest of the storm, due to the shift will be all southern Minnesota, and straight up 35W...Be safe and keep it between the ditches..

looks like Michigan has improved their roads. the governor is no longer spending fed road funds for other things :) when i drove up there, the roads were very bad, almost worse than I-10 [Houston to Louisiana] I-75 from Ohio to Detroit, was the worse road i'd ever been on. this was back in early 2000. they've probably improved the roads a lot, by now
@TheBigsmith796 жыл бұрын
Dennis Mckown don't know if you'll see this, but no the roads have not improved. Hear stories all the time of people blowing tires and tocoing rims from the pot holes, which are hard to avoid.

Once you make it to the St. Paul area you will be out of the snow & think 90-94 split is the southern edge coming up 94

I bet some commenters herein could tell you where to go LoL.. When you walk back and forth to the camera, that could be on a comedy show LoL, however I did learn a lot about folding and fixing tarps. Would painting a line of glue around the edges help to keep them from lifting up after the patch has cured?
