Just goes to show how badass the 427 are. I'd say the camaro 540 lost based on the 440 ci and probably lighter car. All that cubic inch and probably alot more money couldnt take the chevelle with 427 down. I love 427's. I like cubic inch, but with those cubes and money camaro should've walked away from chevelle.....IMO!

im a big fan of the car and the engine and the whole setup you have, i just was wondering what made you wanna go with a 540 as appose to a 632, the cost is slightly higher but not much higher plus the extra power from a 632 is nice. not meaning to sound offense or anything, just wondering why you decided on the 540 and the benefits or what you feel is greatest about it
@540merlin8 жыл бұрын
+joey lenseigne I put a 540 in my 70 BB Vette first. Space is a huge issue in a Vette. a 632 is a tall deck block. A 540 is a standard deck height so its an easier fit and about as big as you can go with the standard deck height. When I did the Camaro I wanted to run a similar set up for ease of part swaps. My next engine in the Camaro will be a tall deck maybe a 632 without the NOS. Probably dual quads cuz I've never had dual quads and they seem really excessive :)

@427ImportEater If I may answer that: I don't know what Video editor Dave uses, but in "Sony Vegas Pro" You can have an image "trace" along the video as you specify. To be more specific, lets say at 1:02 seconds you have the image on "X" coordinate and "Y" coordinate, and then at 1:10 second you change the X & Y coordinates to a new place, the image will follow along the path you set it to. I hope that helps answer your question =)
