See I ALMOST did this!! I have used them many times never had a gas stove until now! I didnt think anything of it, and got them out and went to set them off (different ones) than im uses to using so I read the directions to see how to set it off and I noticed it said to shut propane off! I panicked because lord knows what could have happened had I not read the instructions! 🥺🥴 I have yet to set them off because I dont know how to turn off and back on the pilot light to the stove...

@@robertmcdowell5175 I learned how bit if uncomfortable definitely consult first but the valve needs to face the opposite way the pipe is going (at least that's how mine was) I bombed and nothing blew up lol 😆 definitely was scary because I never thought of it! I did also learn that not only was my stove gas but so was the water heater AND the central heat as well so I had to turn those off as well 🥴 good luck and be safe.

working in pest control we have portable plug in foggers that effectively do the same thing. ALWAYS TURN YOUR PILOT LIGHTS OFF OR DONT EVEN FOG. it’s dangerous #1 and if you’re not trained most of the time it will be ineffective at getting rid of the problem.
