I love that they're always thinking about the animal and trying not to hurt it! Especially when they take gators out of areas like streams or ponds where, IMO, the gator has every right to be there, same as you do, even if you "own" that property - considering the fact that it's not possible for an alligator to buy any property itself, and the concept of ownership is something humans made up (they don't have a right to be in your swimming pool if you don't want them there, and of course have no right to be inside your house or garage, but a body of water like a river belongs to nature - if it runs through your property, you don't own it, and you wouldn't be allowed to dump toxic waste in it just because you do it on the area that runs through your land)

There's a video of a guy in a real swamp with gators (like 3) who have been chillen all day & he still calmly kept them all at bay, even letting them near his face. They seem scary in that case, but this poor gator looks like he's in a fishbowl, Of course it's tired... It's kinda afraid & in a strange environment where it doesn't know what to do. Glad you guys saved it!

They don't use hooks, as they bill themselves as humane trappers. In Florida, the licensed trapper is free to do what he wants with the gator, including killing and gutting it for meat and leather. The Gator Boys don't do that, but rather take the gators to safe refuges. For the same humane reasons, they don't want the gator to smash itself against the sides and edges of the pool.
