Thanks for the demo, big fan of gaming the Cold War era using Fistful of TOWS 3 miniature rules

I've only played Fistful of TOWs 3 once, but enjoyed it. I have plans to play more in the future.

They look really good! Nice and simple color scheme. I have Model Air so this helps out a lot for my first painting of 6mm models. Thanks for sharing this.

Looks nice! I usually prime these models, already on their bases, with color primer from an airbrush or spray can. After that just washing and drybrushing. Nice tip about the tracks, saves you from painting them black.

I like to get the flock under the vehicle, so I attach them to the base after I paint, but your method would probably be faster. I don't really use an airbrush for any of my painting, but have been considering working with one to build up my skill with it. Some people think it is heresy that I don't paint the tracks, but at this scale, I'm not concerned with it.

@@HerooftheTable I'm not exactly skilled with the airbrush, but priming models with one is pretty easy. Also Vallejo has lots of color primers available. You're right about the flock, of course. Again, nice video.

Nice looking BMP-2 miniatures from C-n-C, I have mostly GHQ moderns in Soviets and Americans. What do you think of Cold War Commander and Team Yankee.
@HerooftheTable5 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I have some GHQ, but there are some other companies making great models for a bit less of an investment. I enjoy Cold War Commander. The activation system is derived from Warmaster and adds a great unknown to the game. I've read through Team Yankee, but have not played it. I used to play a fair bit of Flames of War, but kind of lost interest. When I first got Team Yankee, I was looking at playing in 15mm and that just didn't make sense with the ranges. I think it is much more suited to 6mm. I'll give it a try at some point.
