This is for the 2016+ Camaro 3.6 V6 models. I had the non-npp stock exhaust. My exact car is a 2019 3LT RS Camaro, V6. The original idea was to purchase the American Thunder exhaust system from Flowmaster which had a $600 price tag on its own. After some looking around I realized I could get the same mufflers from the kit at a much lower price. So I purchased those, and added some black tips from flowmaster. I took these to a shop and had them installed.
The sound is much more aggressive and not a ton louder. This is what I wanted. It sounds much better and louder when you step on it, but I didnt want any drone or to wake up the neighbors when I started my car early in the morning.
My car is still in the break in period of 1500 miles, so no, there is NO clips in this video where I give it wide open throttle. I am being pretty gentle, and most clips were even taken in touring mode. I will post a later update video of more pulls and whatever else later on after the break in period.

Great demonstration video. Maybe highway cruising would have been a good addition. But I like how you have your priorities right lol, I'd want the exact same things out of my exhaust, more aggressive but not too loud and definitely no drone. Cheap would be good to have. But at this point I'd not spend anything on an exhaust because I have the stock quad tip npp and it's pretty good imo.

Highway cruising is pretty quiet. Its not really any noticeably different from stock. It's when you get on it that it sounds much better.

Hey brother! It’s a great sounding kit!! I have a 2019 1lt V6, not sure how much of a difference that is from yours but I’m financing this vehicle and don’t want to void warranty. I’m a little over 30k miles. Is this a good idea for better sounds or performance or should I go with GM performance variants?

This exhaust may or may not void the warranty. I would ask your dealer. The GM kit is overpriced and not worth it IMO

Latin MuscleTV it won’t void your warranty. If I were you I would get a muffler delete for 100 bucks and it’s worth it. Not to loud, but a good difference compared to these exhausts. And it’s sounds perfect

This is just what I’m looking for, not too loud, just to be clear this is the two Flowmaster super 44 mufflers 942548 and you had a shop fabricate the pipes from the axle back, correct?

Depends on your dealer. Most dont care unless your exhaust clearly causes a problem.

The super 44 are actual mufflers, and the American Thunder are straight pipes with a tuned resonator to the side. I would just spend the extra money and get that and still have a deeper sound and louder exhaust.

The American thunder system uses the super 44s, this was much cheaper and sounds deeper than a straight American thunder bolt on.

Ride With Danger On flowmasters website in the spec list for muffler series, it says N/A-Tuned resonator for the American Thunder.

Louder without being obnoxious, but a much deeper and more aggressive sound. I got asked if it was the V8 pretty often. Love the sound, and no drone! Check the links in the description as well.

@@vlone_3625 The car has a single large muffler, if your getting the flowmasters (as well as most other aftermarket options) you will need 2, 1 for each pipe.
