Hey Mark!!! Personally, I find it AWESOME for bedding fish when rigged Tokyo style! I make my own Tokyo rigs, with an extended weight wire about 5" long. This allows the bait to sit a little higher, helping bring those cruising females just out from the beds in. Helps reduce a few minutes from the time we take when sight fishing.

I can definitely see that working during the spawn! Thanks for the tip!

For those of you who want to get the most use out of the bait. Get yourself a bottle of mend-it glue and use it on the bait to repair it when it gets torn. It works great, and a bottle will last you a long time. Just remember to keep the lid on tight and out of direct sunlight when not using it. Look ot up online. I believe it comes from Westcoast bass central. I know it is from California, and it works on all soft plastic baits except for z-mans. Works great and dries fairly fast in cool weather and even faster in warmer weather.

I'm going to buy some for walleye and trout. They do have small sizes.

To my knowledge the 5” is the smallest size

@markfisheroutdoors yes the live minnow,live shad, live perch,live goby, have 2, 2.8, 3.5 in sizes for the live color patterns. In my experience I think the 2.8 is going to be the money size . I'm going to buy all three sizes on all 5 different patterns. I will let you know how they'll do if you want. The crush city freeloader was fire last year for walleye, If you didn't try it, give it a try.

I've been using the Live Gizzard pattern of the Panorama for a couple months now, and it's an absolute killer for snook! I fish it rigged with the open hook like you've shown, but without any weight. I just twitch it up to the surface as I reel, and they just explode on it. But as you pointed out, it's an extremely soft bait and tears easily. But when fishing in salwater here in Florida, ANY plastic bait will get shredded by some of the more toothsome fish that are also attracted to it. Just goes with the territory. Tight lines, brother! 😊

I generally nose hook mine (just in front of the eyes side to side) using an appropriate size hook for the different size baits or target fish. The bait usually just slides up the line. As it gets worn out I just clip a little off. I’ve caught fish in one cut back past the eyes. I will add weight as needed. Sometimes just a split shot above it and sometimes drop shot style. I’ve caught multiple fish (spotted & striped bass) on one lure. I recently bought some of these CoreTackle weighted hooks for river fishing. Can’t wait to try it.

That's a great idea Mark! I bought some of those when they came out and tore a whole bag of them up trying to learn how to rig them. I did take some Mend It to the head of the bait and they were like new. I'll have to get them back out and try the TUSH hook on it. Thanks for the underwater footage.

I’ve been using an owner CPS centering spring on the nose to add durability. Been working good to nose hook them.

If you use these on a keel weighted swimbait hook, they will twist your line like crazy! Use a swivel if possible.

Are you throwing that lure on spinning or casting tackle?? the way you have it rig there; it looks like it would catch the wind a lot

What hook do you use for the 9" model for us big swimbait guys?
@stupidthoughts29214 ай бұрын
Looks like a 5/0 hook with 1/8 would look better and give it a slower fall, when I watched your video lure dropped fast and crashed right into the eyelet and smashing knot/line seem it may cause to many break offs. If u use that 7/0 maybe rig it 1/4" back so nose of bait hits bottom before eyelet does, just an opinion and what I saw on video, but still a good video, thanks

First thing you want to do with the Panarama is remove from packaging and leave outdoors for a week to get rid of the insane odour

I’d say 2-3 fish on a bait is about average and honestly I’d be satisfied with any soft plastic that’ll do that

All of Sixth plastics are WAY too soft and no durability. Even the tiny minnows are one fish baits. That's how they get all that action, which really is not necessary. The Tush hook with a drop of crazy glue is probably your best bet. But I could not throw an open hook on the bottom.
@timmontano87923 ай бұрын
I think I'll hold off on buying anything like this until they start making them out of that Elaztech material, so they last longer. Even better will be when the Chinese start copycatting these baits and making them for three or four bucks per dozen of them with free shipping. Then it won't matter as much how long they last.

Cheap bait! It's not an expensive bait at all. My Hinkle trout is a 750.00 bait. The action is amazing the quality is cheap China crap. Does the fish catch fish? Yes. So is the 9.99 cost at Tackle Warehouse worth it? Yes. Your only option is buying 6 packs at a time.
